Music Matinee: Amelia Romano
Admission
Overview
Join us for an afternoon of music with harpist Amelia Romano, a San Francisco-based musician who is re-imagining the lever harp as a dynamic classical instrument. Traditionally associated with folk music, the lever harp rarely appears in highly chromatic repertoire. Romano bridges these worlds by performing complex classical works on the lever harp, skillfully shifting levers mid-piece to achieve a full range of color and expression. She holds a Master’s degree in Classical Lever Harp Performance from San Francisco State University and is an active performer, arranger, and educator.
This program is included with regular museum admission.
