Pacific Wind Bands "Hidden Echoes"
Overview
University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music presents Pacific Wind Bands conducted by Professor Vu Nguyen and guest conductor Robert Ponto.
The program, titled "Hidden Echoes," explores how composers transform borrowed melodies and musical traditions. Performed works include David Biendenbender's "Luminescence," Lindsey Bronnenkant's "Tarot," John Mackey's "Aurora Awakes," Gustav Holst's First Suite in E-flat and Charles Ives's "Country Band March."
Tickets ($10–$15) are available online or at the door 30 min. before the performance.
