Pleinair Paintout with MJ & Friends

Overview

Join me & my friends at a FREE & friendly pleinair paint-out this Sunday at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. Spend a relaxed day creating art on one of the most beautiful campuses in the West.

Event invitation

All ages & all skill levels are warmly welcome, from absolute beginners to seasoned pro artists.

All art mediums: bring your oils, acrylics, watercolor, gouache, pastels, sketchbooks, or whatever you love to create with.

The university’s tree-lined paths, rose gardens, & classic brick architecture offer countless inspiring views to recreate.

What to bring

Your own art supplies, plus a portable easel or sketch board if you have one. Or a picnic blanket to sit upon.

Comfortable warm clothing (high 60F), sun protection, & water so you can relax and enjoy working outdoors en pleinair “in the open air.”

Atmosphere

This is a laid-back, community-centered gathering focused on creativity, encouragement, & connection with fellow artists in Stockton’s vibrant arts scene.

Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a family creative outing—stay for as little or as long as you like and leave with fresh studies, new ideas, & new artist connections.
