Port City Paella Dinner
Overview
Join us for a warm September evening filled with the aroma of paella cooking fresh on site, inspiring conversation, and the chance to reconnect with familiar faces while meeting new friends. DSC's Port City Paella Dinner brings our community together for a relaxed, inspiring evening where the rhythms of rowing meet the traditions of the table.
At the heart of the evening is an intimate fireside chat with award-winning author and Stockton native Sam Quinones. One of his most recent books, The Perfect Tuba, explores how access to opportunity can transform a young person's life, a story that resonates deeply with Delta Sculling Center's mission. Then settle in for a dinner unlike any other, as authentic paella is prepared before your eyes in traditional pans, with both classic and vegetarian paella available, a meal made for lingering, laughing, and connecting.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of inspiring conversation, exceptional food, and community, all while helping Delta Sculling Center open doors for youth and adults, including veterans and adaptive athletes, to discover the life-changing opportunities found on the water.
