Stockton Arts Week: Black Arts Movement
This event has already taken place, but here is the past event information
NEW BLACK ARTS MOVEMENT, bringing back an era in time where Black
artists expressed themselves so beautifully through their mediums in the
midst of oppression and discrimination; their art became their voice.
Brought to you by Tiger Kitten Productions, in conjunction with, The African American Chamber of Commerce.
Black Arts Movement is a show that highlights the historical arts during the time period from 1965-1975, in which, politically motivated Black poets, actors, musicians, and artists used their art form to spread a love for their culture. Performances and art will be shared from the past with an eclectic flavor of currency.
Entertainment & fun for the whole family by local artists.
Join us in learning about this great period in time.
