Stockton Cargo SC to Host USL W Western Conference Playoffs July 4-6

The Stockton Cargo SC (10-0-2), Champions of the USL W NorCal Conference, will host the USL W Western Conference Playoffs July 4th thru July 6th. All Matches will take place at St. Mary’s High School.

The first Western Conference Playoff will take place at 4pm, as Utah United, Champions of the USL W Mountain Conference, take on FC Olympia, Champions of the USL W Northwest Division. That is followed up by the host Stockton Cargo SC taking on the USL W SoCal Division Champions, Santa
Clarita Blue Heat FC at 7pm.

The winners of both games will meet up for the USL W Western Conference Championship at 7pm on Sunday, July 6th.

Name: Our name is inspired by the port of Stockton which is synonymous with the area and an integral part of the city.

Colors: Sporting Green inspired by the cities Portuguese heritage. Stockton Blue inspired by the city's connection to the sea.

Ship: A cargo ship intertwined with pitch markings. Representing the connection between the city and the soccer community.

Stars: The two stars that sit each side of the team's name are taken from the city flag & seal.

Shape: A shield is a representation of strength and the toughness of our community. The bottom section surrounding the ship acts as its hull.

The USL W League serves as the nation’s premier pre-professional league developing the next generation of women’s talent both on and off the field, enhancing the women’s soccer pipeline between college and professional soccer. With 44 teams across 20 states in its inaugural season, the USL W League will bring elite women’s soccer to communities across the U.S., creating more opportunities to play, watch and work in the women’s game.
