Stockton Maritime Museum Fall Open House 2025 - The USS Lucid
Overview
On Saturday, October 11th, 2025 at 10 AM, we invite you to take a guided tour of the USS Lucid (MSO-458), learning her history from volunteers and veterans, with entry until 3:30 PM. If you have already visited, you can expect to see some big changes to the ship as she is now about 85% restored. If you've never been on board, this is a great opportunity to learn about this aggressive class, oceangoing minesweeper and how she got to California's inland port. You'll want to stop by the museum's gift shop too, where new merch will be available for purchase. Afterwards, enjoy a hot dog and soda in the shade seated under our fantail awning.
To attend, we kindly request your RSVP ASAP at our Evenbrite link, and a donation of $10 per adult and $5 per child, collected upon arrival. We encourage all visiting MSO veterans to gather on the fantail after your tour. We'd love to add your "sea stories" to our growing collection from local former 'sweep sailors!
