What is the Stockton Savings Pass?

The Stockton Savings Pass, a free mobile coupon book powered by Visit Stockton, was launched in May of 2017 and has had huge success in attracting visitors and locals to participating businesses across the city. We currently have a large number of restaurants, attractions, and professional services currently offering deals on the pass and we would like you to join them!

Why was it created?

Visit Stockton saw an opportunity to leverage smart phone technology to benefit local businesses. The Stockton Savings Pass is an additional tool Visit Stockton uses to stimulate spending across our city. The pass increases revenue for businesses and generates additional sales tax profits that benefit the entire community. Pass holders have the opportunity to try new businesses they may otherwise not visit or even know about thanks to the diverse offerings available on the pass and the easy navigation of the tool itself.

Why should I join?

There is no cost for you to participate - this is a free advertising opportunity for your business. Visit Stockton is heavily promoting the pass via multiple advertising efforts to showcase all there is to offer and get more customers in your door.

What do I have to do?

All we ask from you is a coupon, or discount, that you can offer passholders as an incentive to visit your business and spend money with you. This is very similar to traditional couponing, with the key difference being that these are hyper-targeted, curated, and relevant to specific target audiences through a mobile-exclusive channel.

What does my staff need to do?

The redemption process is very straight forward and it is our intent to not disrupt your current processes. A passholder would simply present the pass on their phone to your employee and with one-click of a button, your staff can redeem the given discount at your business. Note: we have the ability to include a POS keyword on your deal to aid your staff in tracking redemptions on your end. Redemption reports are also available from us, if you would like to see how your deals are performing.

Who manages the technology?

We have partnered with Bandwango, a technology provider based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and trust that their expertise is helping this program be as beneficial to our partners as possible. They have launched many successful “Show Your Badge” Passports across the country and continue to be leaders in their industry.
