Read MoreWith the arrival of a cold new year comes a seasonal feast: crab feeds! From January to March, the Port City is overflowing with special events serving Dungeness crab. Crab feeds are a common way to celebrate the arrival of crab season, as well as an opportunity to host community fundraisers.
Stockton, California has been home to numerous crab feed/charity pairings for many years now. We know how to throw a fun and engaging crab feed that benefits our community. These flavorful fundraisers help raise money for local organizations—with a number of them including raffles, live entertainment, and much more! Here are just a few crab feed fundraisers you won’t want to miss this season in Stockton. Also, a word to the wise: pick up your tickets early because it is not unusual for these feeds to sell out quickly!
NOTE: This year features a few more crab alternatives than before (including rib feeds, lobster boils, and some tri tip deliciousness) just in case you wanted a fun night out with a different type of meal.
If you're looking for a crab feed that lets you take your food to go, you've found it right here. The Employment Training Academy will be having their drive thru crab feed happening at THREE different locations: Stockton, Manteca, and Modesto! This special event is going down Friday, February 10. All meals will be served with fresh rolls, green salad, pasta with read meat sauce, and 3 pounds of fresh crab OR 1 pound of tri-tip. Click the link above for phone numbers for each location.
The Tony Noceti Group, Inc. is holding its annual Crab Feed on Saturday, February 11 at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds (Building 2). Benefitting St. Jude's Hospital, the social hour starts at 5 pm, and dinner is set to be served at 6:30 pm. Dinner includes crab, pasta, salad, and fresh bread with a no-host bar. Plus, a dessert silent auction, live auction and 50/50 raffle await you!
Have a great time while supporting keeping the Slick Rock Trail cleaned for all by attending the Joaquin Jeepers Crab Feed on Saturday, February 11 from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Stockton Ballroom. All you can eat crab, tri tip, pasta, salad, bread, and dessert—as well as a full bar, a raffle, live DJ, and dancing—await you!
NorCal Gladiators are hosting their first annual crab feed fundraiser on Saturday, February 11 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Stagg High School. You'll devour tasty crab while also enjoying a live DJ, cash raffle prizes, dancing entertainment and so much more. Have a great night while helping out a part of the community.
Presentation Church will be the setting for the Stockton Host Lions Club 25th annual Super Crab Bowl on Saturday, February 11. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Stockton Host Lions Club Scholarship Foundation as well as other charitable projects in the Stockton Community. The no-host cocktail begins at 6:30 pm, dinner kicks off at 7:30 pm, and dancing is at 9:00 pm.
Raffles, prizes, and vendors aplenty will be at the Combat Veterans of America Association's 8th annual crab feed at the Robert Cabral Agricultural Center on Saturday, February 18. Cocktail hour is from 4:30 - 5:30 pm and dinner will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Have some fun while donating to a great cause! The Delta Humane Society is having their 2nd annual Mardi Gras Crab Feed at American Legion Post on Saturday, February 18 from 5:00 to 10:30 pm. They are serving up marinated crab, pesto pasta, pasta with red sauce, salad, and bread. The no-host bar kicks off at 5:00 and dinner starts at 6:30.
Enjoy some delicious crab at Michael's N.Y. Style Pizza, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Animal Protection League. Crab, pasta, salad, and bread will be served up Tuesday, February 21 starting at 5 pm. Tickets are limited so get yours now!
Enjoy a raffle, live Entertainment, dancing, dessert, and of course some crab as the TE IHI O TE ARA NUI Crab Feed takes over the Italian Athletic Club on Friday, February 24 from 4:30 to 11:00 pm. The no-host bar kicks off at 5:00 pm, dinner at 6:00pm, live performances at 6:30 pm, and dancing from 8:00 to 11:00 pm.
Enjoy a fun night of dinner, dancing, a raffle, drinks, and door prizes with this crab feed put on by the Stockton Police K-9 Connection. Taking place Saturday, February 25 from 5:30 - 11:45 pm at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, this dinner includes salad, pasta, bread, a no-host bar, and fresh marinated cold crab.
Enjoy a night filled with dinner, drinks, raffle prizes, auctions, dancing, and more at the St. Basil's Preschool Crab Feed! This fun fundraiser night is going down Saturday, February 25 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at St. Basil's Orthodox Church. Be sure to contact St. Basil's to purchase your tickets in advance. The money raised will continue to help upgrade the St. Basil Preschool playground.
The American Legion Karl Ross Post 16 will once again be having their annual crab feed, happening Sunday, February 26. There will be fresh crab, spaghetti, green salad, delicious bread, and desserts. Plus, there will be music and fun for everyone. Doors open at 4:00 pm with a no-host cocktail bar followed by dinner at 5:00 pm.
The Kelly's Angels Foundation dedicates itself to providing service to children whose lives have been impacted by homicide. Their annual crab feed—going down Friday, March 10 from 5 - 10 pm—helps to fund the programs they've created to help local kids, including tutoring, extracurricular activities, mentoring, and therapy. This year's event will feature a no-host bar, crab dinner, and live music from Dj BgGabe and Latin Magic!
