Love this place. The Staff is so nice, my food is always warm and fresh. My fav place in all of Stockton :)

Adelberto's is a quality Mexican drive through/walk-in restaurant that stays open until midnight. You can order breakfast as well as a la carte, and for the best value a combo plate. The usual tacos, burritos, or nachos with cheese or completely loaded. Sides here are expensive. You can find beans and rice much cheaper elsewhere. For the money we'll often choose the Carnitas plate. With easily a half pound of shredded roast pork, the usual sides, Mexican rice, refried beans, lettuce, guacamole and pico de gallo comes with a giant flour tortilla. A second tortilla is available. In this way you get 2 huge super burritos for later and 1 carnitas bowl to eat now., which works quite well for GLP-1 patrons and those on a budget. Another good choice are the rolled tacos, (flautas) with cheese and guacamole. Choose chicken or beef filling and either 3 or 5. Add a churro for dessert or horchata and you're pretty full for about $15-$20.

We came here because we were just passing through town and it was one of the only places we could find that was open late . The food here was pretty good. I did ask for melted cheese on my nachos, and the girl behind the counter said no, without any kind of explanation. I ordered them anyways and they were good. The rolled tacos were fine as well, next time, I would try beef rather than chicken. They were very generous with the sour cream and sauce that came on the side was nice and not overly spiced. This is a very small restaurant, and there were about eight or nine employees behind the counter. I’m pretty sure they were all cleaning because this place was spotless. And by spotless, I mean, there was zero dust in the windowsills, on the floors or anywhere else. The bathroom is outside and it was the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen at a restaurant. I would eat here again.
