Angelina's is a true family restaurant: owned by four family members, named after another, and welcoming to all of yours. For thirty-one years, their hearty homemade pastas, raviolis, and traditional sauces have been bringing families together in Stockton just like a meal at Grandma's house.
Consider inviting all your relatives to dine together in Angelina's comfortable and cozy banquet room the next time you are hosting a family get-together. Angelina's isn't fussy-just simple, classic, and great tasting. Features a full bar. Open for lunch and dinner.
I appreciate how ever since we have been ordering food to go, they have not gotten it ever wrong. This is a valuable quality since other businesses will get your order wrong and your stuck with a unwanted dinner. The staff always friendly, and the woman that gave me my order confirmed the new bags (instead of boxes) are more convenient.
A wonderful find in Stockton. I told my waitress that I was undecided between a couple of options. And she suggested that she surprise me. And she picked me the Veal Marsala and it was great. I would let her choose again for me. As I eat out all of the time, due to my work travels.
Tasty food and great service. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food is very authentic. Very reminiscent of some of the best Italian restaurants back in the day in my beloved SF. Loved all the types of pasta sauces they offer. Each one was very yummy . Our waitress knew all the details of every dish and every combination they have. The salad bar could've had a little more of a variety but it was good. The cold pasta salads are very good. I could've given them 5 stars but I'd love them to reinvent their garlic bread which is good but kind of basic. It could be better. Not sure how it's baked but it was kind of hard and not easy to bite. I ordered the chicken parmesan which was delicious but they could also perfect the preparation of it. Not sure if it was under or over cooked but it was very chewy. Chicken breast should not be chewy or tough. Other than that I loved it. We will be back soon. I'm so happy we've found this gem in Stockton. A must try! 👌🏻
This is a long time favorite Italian restaurant in town. Always great service and awesome food. Large portions! UPDATE 4/16/2022: Still the best!
The food was great! Amy our server was excellent. She informed us of everything that was on the menu. And it was a good family atmosphere. We ate there after church. My family and I have been there several times. We'll be back again.
I loved this place!! The pasta sauce is so good and real Authentic, like real homemade spaghetti sauce from a Italian mom or grandma. Yes it's in Stockton, so get in, get out, don't go anywhere else. Angelina's has their own parking lot
Haven't been here in years. After a delicious order of large crispy calamari, enormous bowls of minestrone soup and garlic bread we left with are orders in to go boxes after only a few bites. Our server was delightful, knowledgeable, attentive and all around fantastic!
Been coming here for years! Taste has remained consistent. Friendliest servers! Managers check in on you during meal. Feels like family! ❤❤
I had a great experience here tonight. I had the pleasure of having Madeline as my waitress. She’s beautiful, funny, professional, attentive, and fun to be around. Her smile brightens the room, and her attitude benefits the restaurant 1000%. She’s an excellent waitress and an amazing asset to this great restaurant. Great food, good people! Thank you thank you
Wonderful restaurant with great service and a lovely pasta buffet for lunch :) It was a great experience and they also sold there pasta sauce and pasta so you can bring the pleasure home with you:)
There French Dip is the best in town. 15.99 is the price and worth every penny. If you haven't tried it you need to plus the cook the meat to your liking which is awesome. This is a must for anyone who likes French Dip. 👍
It is one of the oldest restaurants in Stockton. Wonderful food and excellent service. We have celebrated several special occasions there, and they can accommodate a large crowd. Our groups were around 25 to 40 people.
First time trying this place. Overall the service was great! The food was good. Prime rib was the best. I really enjoyed the grilled flavor. Fried calamari was tender and tasty.
First time trying Angelina's on recommendation from my grandmother-in-law. Went with a party of five around 3:30 in the afternoon and was seated quickly. The interior is nice with big open booth seating that was partitioned off to make a nice private dining experience. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and meat sauce as my pasta side, and I also chose the salad bar option. Our server was very nice and attentive, taking our order quickly and always on top of our drinks. The salad bar was well stocked and very clean. All the ingredients looked and tasted very fresh! One thing that stood out to me was the difference in their sauce bases, very different from the tomato based sauces I am used to at most Italian restaurants. It was different but I really enjoyed it! The Chicken Parmesan was perfectly cooked, crispy and juicy the way it should be!
We had the best dinner and dessert last night for Valentine's Day! It was busy so a bit slow, which is understandable. But my goodness, I had the sauteed shrimp scampi with cheese tortellini and green beans with giant bacon bits and my husband had a massive piece of prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes and the same delicious green beans. For dessert we had our favorite chocolate Raviolis! Thanks for a great night and awesome meal!
This is a long time favorite Italian restaurant in town. Always great service and awesome food. Large portions!
Valentine's dinner with my lovely lady. Perfect setting with a rose and candle light. Ordered a steak and I have to say was the best steak I've had. Both our meals were 5 star! Our server Kari was awesome and super attentive. Overall had a great time.
Great food and service. The roast beef was amazing. Seemed like a strange thing to be on the menu. Should have tried it years ago. Bar is a great place to socialize before or after you eat dinner. Love this place for family dinners or dates.
Great Italian restaurant healthy serving everytime always leave full and a snack for later.
Just had dinner there after them being closed for almost three months. Still as god as it always was. Best rib eye stake in town! You wouldn't think about a spaghetti house having a good steak. But they do! Not cheep but worth it.
I've lived here in Stockton for almost 44 years and this was my very first time ever eating there and it was very very good from the food to the service it was awesome and the best experience I have ever had in any of the dine in restaurants that I have eaten a meal at. The pleasant atmosphere when you first enter is so calming it makes you take a deep breath & relax giving me a feeling of family and I'm safe here. I loved it!!!!
Clean, masked, staff..Great atmosphere. Amazing service...loved the clam chowder and warm bread. Plentiful food.
Easy pick up. Social distancing is being observed properly. Food is excellent and comes out of the kitchen hot and ready to take home. There are outside dining options and minimum inside dining. All together makes for a great experience.
I sat at the bar and had dinner with a friend and Aimee was the absolute best! She was so friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back.
Portions great but they changed their prime rib for some stupid reason. Used to be the best prime rib in the world. Don't understand this decision. They grill it now, etc.. won't be going back.
Awesome food!!! Staff is friendly. Place is clean. Well worth the value!
One of my preferred locations for tasty italian food. It's so savory. The service here is outstanding.
If you don't LOVE Angelinas, you were NOT born and raised in San Joaquin county and clearly a transplant. Best salad bar, best delicatessen, best gravy, best pasta, best French dip, best French bread, best service... shall I continue? They NEVER disappoint wether it's dine in or to-go. I've had Almost everything on the menu and I suggest everything.
Best Italian restaurant, ravioli are amazing! And the seafood alfredo delicious! #valentine'sdinner
Food is so delicious our waitress was very nice and polite I would go back anytime its good to see a person who takes her time to see if we are enjoying the food awesome job I forgot her name my bad
Best food in town since as long as i can remember. Still a great date place. clean and servers are amazing.
This place really shocked me initially I went into their dining area and it was a small quiet room with booths but then I asked if I can move to the bar and it was like a whole new experience; beautiful bar and great atmosphere and the bartender kept the drinks coming. Their sampler appetizer was the best I’ve had in a long time very delicious calamari strips, the wings were on point and the Italian sausage wow!! After some nice cocktails ended up ordering the ribeye and it was the knockout punch great till the last bite.
4/1/21*****UPDATE EVERYBODY***** They will start seating inhouse again starting this week I've been told. Yeah!!! I'm starving just thinking about it. Don't everybody rush to get there before me now. lol. Enjoy folks. ******You don't really notice the place from the outside. It's been there since the 70's. It's only open for dinner and an early one if you want to be sure to get in and out due to closing early. When you walk in the first thing you are hit with is the smell. It smells like home should smell when it's dinner time. I felt like had been there forever. It's not fancy, it's not romantic, it's not high class dining. What it is is home cooking Italian style. It's comfortable. The lasagna was fantastic. I'm glad I had the full serving so I had some for later or the next day. The wait staff is friendly and casual. The clientele is older hence the hours. But it was someplace I will eat at every time I am in Stockton or passing through. Great salad bar.
Best place in town . Enjoyed the service and of course the great food served . Worth the price and will keep coming back . D.C.
One of the best italian places I've eaten at. I live in Pittsburg and would happily make an occasional commute for this. That italian sausage...amazing.
Glad everything is reopening even with CoVid19 restrictions. Usually good food and service. Was especially busy as many people are going out to dine in. There was little or no wait time for a table. Masks required foe entry but the food and service remain excellent
We come to Angelina's every few months. Totally reliable experience. Always top notch quality and taste. The best part--the wait staff is "old school"--very professional, attentive, courteous and friendly. And I must comment about the serving size--very large. If you go for the salad bar (which is very extensive in the selection) with your meal, you will surely bring home a significant part of your entrée for a second light meal at home--at least that's the case for us almost senior citizens!
Great food. Just had them cater an event everyone loved the food. Lots of compliments
I've been in Stockton for 3 yrs and wanted to try Angelina's. My fiance always goes to another place! Yuck! They weren't answering my calls for 30 mins and I jumped on the opportunity! WOW! Angelina's made new customers for life that night!!! Thank you so much! Your food is amazing and we will be back for a date night!
Very good service, and food was great. Portions will fill you up for sure. Great soup, wonderful garlic bread. Had the deep fried ravioli for dessert. Give it a try. Everything was wonderful. Cannot wait to go again. Went there for lunch, with full menu to choose from. So much and so many things to choose from. They have been around for a long time. Masks still required walking through restaurant, but not while your seated. Great staff.
First time here and it was an EXCELLENT experience. Usually I go to olive garden, but decided to try this place. The atmosphere is wonderful, fresh fruit, veggies, and seafood in the salad bar, good service and friendly staff. Prices were pretty good and alot of food. Definitely will go again!
Angelina’s Spaghetti House was AMAZING! This is the first time we have been here and it was delicious! We had Spaghetti (of course), lasagna, chicken parmigiana, minestrone soup, and salad, which was an all you can eat salad bar. So the salad bar was stocked with an abundance of fresh toppings to choose from. I was totally surprised to learn it was a serve yourself, buffet style salad bar. Which worked out perfect because I love salads! The sauce on the spaghetti was so flavorful. The lasagna is THE BEST I have ever had, seriously! The chicken parmigiana was perfectly breaded and very tender! Minestrone soup was served hot and hit the spot! We topped it off chocolate cake and cheesecake. I personally thought the the food portions could have been a little bigger but I did order the “regular “ size. Perhaps I will try the larger size next time and then there will be plenty of leftovers 😋 Yes I did say next time because we will definitely be going back (it’s about an hour from where we live) but so worth the drive!!
The lasagna is excellent. It tasted very good with the meat sauce. I liked the three types of cheese. The ravioli is good. It could have used more meat sauce. The spaghetti is okay. It did not have the flavor, it seemed to be missing something. The customer service is excellent.
The absolute best in food and service. 1 time we were back in town in 3 years and it was as good or better than I remember. The staff make you feel appreciated and respected. Prices are fair and food is fresh and well presented. 5 Stars because you earned it. We thank you...
Love this place! Nice atmosphere nice people that work there. My food is always been great never had a bad meal been going there for about 20 years highly recommended. Always a nice experience so enjoy life and God bless this establishment and the people that go there and work there. Thanks again guys
Everything was fantastic and on Saturdays they have a complimentary antipasto plater. The Fettuccine Alfredo was mouth-watering. Chicken Marsala (Oh my gosh, to die for!) I had a salad over the soup and the only complaint I had was they should wash their kidney bean & garbanzo salad before serving. The taste of the main course can't be beat. I still give it a 5⭐.

Pro: The food and service here are pretty spectacular and fast to say the least. I was treated with respect by everyone. Pro: Desserts looked good and had reasonable prices but I was too stuffed to try it. Con: The waitress forgot our bread and the chicken in my daughters pesto Pro: She did keep checking on us and corrected the mistakes right away. Pro: the servings are enormous Con: The salad bar was pretty much the same as other salad bars Pro: They serve this delicious green pasta that I’ve never tried before. Con: Flies at both salad bars Con: very crowded restaurant and no social distancing Big con: The biggest issue that I had was that the bathrooms are either side of one of the food bar. It was embarrassing coming out of the bathroom to find people serving their food. The smell of toilet was next to the food. It’s just not sanitary. I won’t be dining in again.
Every time we have dined in we get a different server and every server has been amazing, genuinely kind, attentive, communicative and efficient. Would give a fifth star if the flavor of their signature red pasta sauce and pesto was consistent. Some visits have a more full bodied flavor than other visits. Also the last time we paid for the pasta buffet the lasagna tray at the buffet was refilled one plate portion randomly during the buffet dinner rush. A couple of my family members and other customers had to wait for the next lasagna portion. I used to restaurant food prep and there is a better process. However I still highly recommend going to this historic Italian restaurant.
Chose Angelina's for my birthday this year and it was amazing. I have to be honest of course since this is a review and say that while I loved my rib eye steak and pasta and bf loved his New York steak the rest of my family did not like their food. The biggest concern was our waitress, she was very unprofessional and we actually ended up talking to the manager about her. Everything from reaching over people, being disrespectful to literally poking me with her pencil to get my attention!! She was rude and just very aggressive definitely not the kind of worker you expect at a nice restaurant more of a fast food, not allowed around the public kind of employee. I live Angelina's and have been wanting to go back in spite of this but my family refuses to go because if that experience :(
I have to say my son was made of the pasta and ravioli. When I was pregnant this was my go to lunch spot. Recently I go to the deli and order the best ravioli, potato Salad and garlic bread to go. It's the nostalgia of this place. It's a family restaurant and brings back good memories of family no longer with me. 😇 it's a must try in stockton.. great customer services and great food
