Applebee's Grill & Bar is a franchised American restaurant which focuses on comfort food, family, friends and a fast casual environment. Make your way to this neighborhood hot spot to enjoy happy hour at the bar, watch a game on one of their many TVs, and save a few bucks with their daily food specials.
Large booth and table seating makes for a great night out with the family. The kids are sure to enjoy their cheeseburger, chicken tenders, corn dog and mac and cheese while you devour their tasty rib plate. Everyone will grab a spoon to share their triple chocolate meltdown for dessert!
I have been an avid and frequent visitor of Applebee's for many years. I love how each location makes a point to embrace the city's history and culture upon their construction. Gives each location a town home feel. I most recently visited the March Ln location for my birthday around 11 am and there was no wait, which was great. Myself (and other visitor) we're sat very quickly in a booth. I noticed the menu had been updated since last time in which a lunch Menu section is now available. We ended up ordering from the new lunch menu. I ordered the Cesar salad with the cheesy pasta (no chicken) because I'm vegetarian. I ordered the brownie bite for dessert with vanilla ice cream. It was just the right about of portions for the price. I left happy and full. Didn't get a chance to take a picture of my food, but did get a chance to take a picture of the scenery and the crowd. The staff were very friendly. Our server was very nice. Service was nice and the wait wasn't very long. Overall a good experience. I gave my review 3 stars for lack of variety of vegetarian options.
I went for the all you can eat boneless wings/ shrimp/riblets and endless fries. It took almost 20 minutes to get our second order and it didn't even come with "endless fries." We wanted to order a third round so that we could try one of each, but didn't want to wait an additional 20 minutes to get another order. I asked the server if they take long on purpose so that you don't keep ordering more, but the server made the excuse that it was because it was busy. Which it actually really wasn't. 🙄 It's just not really worth it to say it's ALL YOU CAN EAT if they take forever to bring it to you.
Food was good, but had a lousy experience with the Carside-To-Go service. I waited for them to come out until 10 min after my scheduled time before going inside. Even then, I had to wait another 5 min before the food was ready. Again, the food was great, but the whole carside-to-go idea was kind of shot since I had to go in anyways to get my order. The thing I hate about this is that at the end of the day, you’re still expected to tip, which I did. But I hate the notion that a tip is expected even for carry out when I had to do the servers job anyways. Am I the only one that feels this way?
Finally, getting to get out of the house. Realized that it's not the food or the drinks, it's the getting out and feeling good vibes around. Greeted and seated within 15 min. There is a wait list now, check in and they will text you when table is available. Hostess, Selena, was awesome, very kind and quick service. I had the Bourbon Burger. It was good, but wasn't not too into the Bourbon sauce. The meat was good. Thank you for a great time.
