Overview
When Guadalupe and Jesus Arroyo moved here in the early 1940s, they immediately began sharing their passion for food with friends and family by opening their first restaurant. Sixty years later, their son Mario continues the tradition and commitment to excellence at Arroyo's Cafe. Located on the water, one can enjoy fresh, homemade tortillas, enchiladas, carne asada, and other Mexican favorites. Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant hosts live Mariachi music, and the bar hosts Happy Hour.

Love this place! I always get the garlic shrimp, but grilled instead of sautéed. It's so delicious! I would add more garlic myself, but its still really yummy! Plus you can look at the fake lake and feel like you are somewhere else for a little while. The salsa is spicy for us, but we still love it. Everyone is really nice also!
Arroyo's Cafe is a gem! The food is fantastic – their quesadilla special is a must-try, and the beef enchiladas are packed with tender, flavorful beef. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The view of the lake is a great bonus, and the overall atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The prices are reasonable, and it's a great place for a family meal or a night out with friends. Highly recommend!"
The fact that the place is absolutely full today already says a lot. This is one of my favorite places to come and just chill while having a home cooked meal (especially when I’m super home sick). This place is and will continue to be a community treasure in Stockton.
The food was delicious the atmosphere was amazing I loved all of the old pictures on the walls and it's ambience. The food servicers were cute and courteous and attentive because they kept checking on us. The prices were reasonable. I recommend Arroyos and you won't regret it.
