We come to BJ’s pretty often and usually sit at the bar. Christina always provides excellent service, but unfortunately our experiences with some of the other staff haven’t always been the best. Today we were seated in Gustavo’s cocktail section, and he completely changed the experience for us. Gustavo was personable, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. He checked in regularly without being intrusive and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. His positive attitude and great service really made the experience feel worth the money spent going out to eat. Employees like Gustavo are the reason people come back, and I hope to see him behind the bar in the future. He would make an excellent bartender. Highly recommend asking for Gustavo if you have the chance!
Our server, Charles, was the best server I’ve ever had. He would frequent our table, making sure everything is alright and seeing if we needed anything. He didn’t do that with just us, but every table he served. He is a great worker and deserves a raise! The food was good, but the service was outstanding. I will definitely be back and asking for Charles!
The place is big and crowded even on Monday night. The foods are good. The dessert pizookie ( cookies with ice cream on the top) is okay, especially the triple choc.
We had a very good experience at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Stockton. BJ’s is generally a reliable choice, and this location fully lived up to those expectations. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff were welcoming throughout the visit. The manager was visibly present in the restaurant, checking in regularly and clearly ensuring that everything runs smoothly. It felt like the location is very well managed and probably one of the best BJ’s locations overall. The restaurant is very popular, so it is definitely advisable to make a reservation in advance. If you arrive without one, you should expect longer waiting times, especially during busy hours. As usual for BJ’s, the food was very good, the beer selection is excellent, and the other drinks are also well prepared. The menu offers a wide variety, and overall the quality was exactly what you expect from BJ’s. Overall: A very well-run BJ’s with friendly service, excellent food, and great beers. The visible presence of the manager and the smooth operations make this location stand out. Just make sure to reserve ahead of time, as it is often quite busy.
Me and my wife and my sister-in-law all the way for a early dinner had a wonderful time. The waitress Stephanie really knows her menu, the food came out perfect.
