Cast Iron Trading Co. (formerly known as Cast Iron Cheese, a popular street food vendor seen at local events and pop-ups) is a vibrant downtown Stockton cafe offering a fresh, farm-to-fork style, seasonal menu. Besides great brunch, lunch, and pub-fare food, Cast Iron is serving up hand poured specialty coffees, kombucha, craft beer selections, and wine.

I gave 3 stars for my food only. I am 2 years in remission from having tonsil throat cancer and still have issue dissolving certain foods while I chew and swallowing is a challenge again with certain foods. Although I have certainly gotten better over those 2 years+, and im always trying something new. Yhe food in this case was the chicken cutlet slider sandwich with fries. Chicken wasn't thin enough making it very dry and chewy particularly with the bread. Garlic fries were really good with a dipping sauce. The coleslaw dressing was spicy and,but not enough to make it wet enough to enjoy. I am the outlier. I have been here before with live entertainment and it's a wonderful place to enjoy a night out! I was there early afternoon, and no entertainment, but good ambience. I'll go back to have a pizza as they're thin crust, and I've had success enjoying.
Good place with weekly changes so you don't feel bored getting the same meal. Tried the pork slider with fries. Fries were seasoned well, slider was a bit okay but dry. Went there during patricks day for free fries, worth the screen shot
Found this place by accident and glad we came in. The food is amazing! You have to order at the counter and they bring it to you. I saw tons of craft beers in cans. Not sure but I think I saw 2 taps. Parking is super limited. Has a bathroom but I didn’t use it. I had a special that was posted on the wall. Super delicious.

I attended the prefix menu vegan roast and it was incredible! Such a great value and so fresh and delicious with the perfect amount of spice. Seeding was family style for this event, and such a great idea to get to know your neighbors.
