The Cesar Chavez library has many computers for public use with a library card or day pass. Budget-friendly printing is also easily accessible. There are helpful people at the help desk nearby who can support you if you run into trouble with the computers or printers. There is an adult wing and a children's wing for renting books.
The library is great. Especially the children’s area, it has a lot of toys for kids. However I feel really bad for the librarians bc a lot of children/teens come without parents and mess around, which affects the environment. I hope they enforce policy that unsupervised kids cannot be wandering around the library.
Cesar Chavez has an awesome literacy program for adults it's totally free play supply workbooks and a free assessment questionnaire to help you see where you can have improvement please check it out😊 please ask for Karen Jewell a Çoordinator of the Literacy program add Cesar Chavez library on oak and El Dorado Street in Stockton California.
Cesar Chavez Central Library has been my go-to since childhood. Inside, it’s clean, welcoming, and full of great books for all ages. The kids’ area is cozy, and staff are always helpful. They’ve even got a cool MakerSpace upstairs with 3D printers and more. While the area outside can feel rough with homeless around, the library itself is a safe, solid spot worth visiting
