I was relocated due to water damage in my apt. Suite is beautiful.Staff is great I have a disability and it is really is set up perfect for me. I wish I didn't have to leave here. Bed is fabulous Everything is very clean. I'm happy
Such a lovely place to stay. Quiet, clean, and very comfy. I have stayed here for 4 of the last 8 weeks and it has truly been a wonderful home away from home
Room was nice and quiet, what we needed. Overall hotel not what we're used to for Courtyards. Dining area AC was out and made it a hothouse. Bistro staff of 1 for dinner hour not very enthusiastic (possibly due to heat), wine was hot, carpets on 2nd floor dirty, food trays left out all night in hallway and not picked up, pool closed, day staff at desk not very attentive in morning. Kind of disappointed. 3 stars cause we got a good night rest.
This beautiful hotel was perfect. It really could not have been any better! We arrived 2 hours early for check-in. Not a problem, our room was ready! Great property, spotless rooms, and super friendly staff.
My friends came upon the Courtyard Marriott when we decided to make last minute plans to stay a whole weekend in Stockton. We chose the Courtyard based on price within our budget, location, and how clean and acceptable the rooms looked both on Google reviews and their website. When we checked into the hotel, we were kindly and immediately greeted by the front desk receptionist who quickly checked us in and gave us information and tips on the area. When we came to our room, we found it to be very clean, comfy and the bed sheets exceeded our expectations. The wall between the beds was nice when half our group was asleep and the other was awake. TV had cable which lets you watch a handful of channels like Food Network, Comedy Central, and other lovable channels. Towel service and beds were made immediately while we were gone which was very convenient for us. While our Stockton adventure was a little chaotic, we found the Courtyard to be our safe haven for a multitude of reasons. It was great coming back to a clean cozy hotel room each night of our stay. The hotel is also situated in area with tons of restaurants and shops. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I've had and a more personal experience with the friendly staff. The hotel carried alot of charm that you won't see anywhere else. I would definitely book here again the next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
We enjoyed our one night stay. Very clean, comfortable bed. Pool was closed. Nice area, felt safe.
The place overall is very clean as are the rooms. The staff is super friendly and I loved how comfortable the bed was. I always feel safe staying.
Pros- very comfortable beds, big rooms, very clean, and super nice and attentive staff. Cons- the food options here are pretty poor and expensive for what you get. Definitely suggest eating out. But that's what made it is 4 star venue for me. Other than that it's pretty great!
The customer service at this hotel is the best I have ever experienced. After booking at a hotel in the area without seeing it, I drove by and decided it wasn't safe to stay there. I walked into the Marriott and just prayed for a room to be available. Tom was at the front desk, he not only empathized with my situation he gave me a rate on a room that was reasonable. I wasn't sure where I was going to go if he hadn't helped me, the other hotels in the area were sold out. He was a true life saver. The woman who was at the bistro area was top notch as well. Being in the hospitality industry, customer service is something I really critique. These employees were the best of the best helping me in my time of need. If everyone at Marriott is as amazing as these two, I will only look for a Marriott when I travel in the near future. Thank you Tom!!
As an avid year-round Marriott traveler, this is one of the most out of date hotels I have been to in awhile. Not many other locations in the area so the competition is low. Prices are usually way above normal. Bad mix; resulting in poor value. Not the Marriott experience I am used to. Avoid if you have the opportunity (The Residence Inn next door isn't much better)
This was a really nice hotel. Nice staff, the place was well kept and clean. I definitely recommend this place for stays because the hotel also has a nice reputation!
Clean, kind, affordable - we only spent one night, but it was great. It looks like it's been renovated recently, so everything was clean and fresh. Tim/Tom (?) At the front desk was great.
You can't beat the service you get here. Tom, the front desk manager, is amazing! Definitely one of the best if not the best hotel manager I've encountered in my 17 years of traveling for work. He is a true professional and ALWAYS goes out of his way to make sure guests feel welcomed and their needs are met beyond expectations and consistently.
The surrounding area is very quiet and beautiful. The hotel is a little bit old but the staff are very nice. The refrigerator in the room are not working. Called and it was replaced in an hour.
Pleasant staff, clean room, ice machine that works. Tv in the room is a bit small but otherwise excellent stay.
Very nice rooms and place in general. Loved the furnishings in the room. I would definitely go here again. I also recommend it for anyone who wants to stay at a well taken care of place with great service. No complaints at all.
Hotel is nice but the elevator seems old. It’s very loud and seems to have a hard time working. Despite this, the hotel staff are kind and the hotel is clean. Liked the little balcony.
I always like staying at the courtyard by Marriott. They're clean very comfortable and have enjoyable staff. Would recommend
Decent hotel in a decent area of Stockton. Have three instead if 4 because I had spider webs in the corner of my room. No spiders that I could see just webs.
Spacious accommodations; very clean; 2 dbl beds; love seat w/ ottoman. Pullout table for comfortable dining and huge TV screen! Only negative: Very small under-counter refrigerator.
Courtyard is under new image remodeling. Its looking great. I like the new furniture in the rooms and colors.
We enjoyed our stay at this Marriott. Bed was very comfortable love the pillows and enjoyed the complimentary coffee. The staff is very friendly here which I really appreciate but i was sad that their bistro was closed. Hopefully in the future it will re-open. This marriott is close to the habit hamburger, in and out burger jamba juice Krispy creme donuts and our favorite Chinese take-out. Dave wongs.
Decided to try the Marriott so we can collect the points. Disappointed with the accuracy of the website regarding current amenities. The site stated the pool was closed due to pandemic, however did not also state the fitness center and lobby lounge were closed. The on-site Starbucks is also closed. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. I took a bath while my family was out getting breakfast and when I pulled the drain to let the water out it gave me a jump scare. It sounded like I had opened a portal to another dimension and the demon dogs from Ghostbusters were coming through. Other than that the 3rd floor vending machine was out of order and the TV volume sometimes didn't work. Had to turn on and off the tv a few times. Think we'll go back to the university hotel next time.
Wonderful wonderful people work here. The only reason for the three stars is that it is not one of the remodeled courtyards. If you are in foreign nostalgia, circa early 2000s, this is a great one
It's a Marriott property, you just can't go wrong. When visiting Stockton, if you're looking for something you know will be clean and comfortable and offer those extras that most others do not... This should be your first choice. The next would be The University Waterfront followed by the Hilton. After this you have slim pickings in the modestely prices establishments. Quite honestly it's downhill quick from there. Down hill like a cliff... The Marriott is in a clean and neat area with many professional offices near by. The neighborhood is safe... for stockton that is. There is a Starbucks just down the street, a Krispy Kreme donuts and a In and Out Burger that has a line of cars 35 deep at any given time. The best food in the area is going to be Dave Wongs Chinese which is only surpassed by the taco trucks situated in the parking lot of the 76 gas station. Yes, there's always a line there too. This hotel is my first choice for Stockton. If the other two are not available I would suggest almost anything in neighoring Lodi. Yes, Lodis moderately priced properties are worth the drive. Trust me on this one. There is a Best Western in lodi about 10 minutes north on I5. This is my 4th choice if you need to be in Stockton. There are places much nicer in Lodi but not located as convienent to the area that the Marriott is in. Wine and Roses, Fairfield, a Hampton inn ect. This is a nice Marriott property. You can't go wrong. I'll go back to this location anytime I must be in Stockton.
Such a clean quite and honestly simple hotel with a honest and family type of environment. Staff honestly concerned about your needs and breakfast was promp and was filling. I also appreciate the fact that the staff returned my cell phone I thought I had lost and the second floor cleaning lady was especially helpful when she looked for it everywhere.
Nice room, excellent and very friendly staff. For the price, not sure why a level of breakfast isn't included. Small fridge in my room but no microwave.
