Great happy hour, seems the kitchen was behind while we were there. Our plates arrived at different times and one appetizer never made it out until we were done. The manager took care of us for the inconvenience and the waitress was very kind. We'll be back. We understand things happen. Great manager to step up and take care of the customer.

The free chips and salsa were really good! I got the fajita. It was tasty but seems to have been lacking on the seasoning. The Horchata was a perfect blend to wash everything down. For dessert, this mud pie is a must! As I walked in another day just to get this dessert! Thank you, staff members, for giving me a warm welcome and a place to eat.

Came in to try it their brunch and the menu does not disappoint. They have everything from Tamales, Birria, soups to Tacos and a menu for the kids as well. Cecilia was our host and she was super friendly and was on top of checking back in if we needed anything, Thank you Cecilia!!!!

Well, finally ate my Tortilla soup. It was very delicious. Service was nice. It was very nice and quiet. Today we made it to the Sunday brunch. 10:00am-2:00pm. The pozole and menudo were my favorite. I was able to have home made tortillas with my food. Love it. I sure did eat my share! $32 per person. Return to have my Tortilla soup. Great job Cuca.

Stopped in for lunch this week and tried the (tortilla) soup and (Mexican style) salad, which I had not noticed before on the menu. I was surprised by how much it reminded me of the Olive Garden soup and salad, which I love! All it needed was a little hot sauce to spice it up. Very good!

El Torito is in a great location. There is a lot of parking and hardly any wait time when I went. My server Allania was so sweet and perfect! She made sure I was set with everything as soon as I sat down. My food was hot and extremely delicious! I will definitely be back soon.

Yesterday my boy’s and I went to Sunday brunch for the first time. Our server Tiffany was amazing very attentive, efficient, and always with a big smile. $31 for Sunday brunch. Nice layout. Pretty good selection of food. All the food is behind a plastic shield. You point to what you want. For the eggs, you fill out a slip of paper at your table. Your server picks up slip of paper, has your eggs made and serves them to you at the table. They have a taco bar and a dessert bar. It was OK but I’m not in any hurry to return.

This place has a very good selection of Mexican food for those wanting to try new foods but aren't sure what the food looks like in person. Sunday brunch is the way to go with bottomless mimosas I would definitely go back no questions asked..😎 Alejandra was our super star server and she went far and beyond to give us super service. Definitely recommend to sit in her section.

Alexis(not sure on the spelling) was our server. She was upbeat and so helpful. They were down a server but she was cheerful and a pleasure to have as our server. I could hear here interacting with other customers and she would always be so helpful. Our bill totaled over $90. I ended up tipping her $20, but I know she has to share with bus people and such. So I blessed her with another $20 just for herself. I wish I had all the money in the world to give to her. She a great asset to your company and needs a raise! Alexis if you see these I hope that helped and your an awesome person with a great soul!

Alexis in the dining area is a fabulous server with a great attitude, honest opinions and went above and beyond to what she needed to do. Justin was our server and was very attentive and friendly. We were told the kitchen was a little slow but we had no problem getting our food right away. Little messy around us, like short on bussers, but food was excellent. I went with Tacos Vampiros. Like an enchilada sauce soaked cor tortilla so it was soft and messy but great!

El Torito is a great place to go for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner ! They have so many options and all of their plates have great presentation. We stopped by here on a Saturday morning around noon , & they were still serving breakfast . Their Churro pancakes are delicious and my favorite overall are the sizzling enchiladas they are a must! The host Alicia greets you as soon as you walk in with a friendly smile. Our server Lucy is so sweet and took good care of us as well. Her co-worker “kukis” also kept an eye on us at all times ! Love the Teamwork!! Their manager Cecilia is always on the floor and checking on all the tables & even on her team. This place feels like home as soon as you walk in , will be back to try out their new Happy Hour Menu !

Even though they may have been short staffed the staff that was there was wonderful. We sat at the bar and had a delicious meal. A wonderful bartender with a beautiful smile saw to it that we waited for nothing. Very nice evening.

While the staff was friendly the facility was dirty, unorganized, and felt quite like no one should be in there. The salsa was really watery on the table. The food took a really long time to come. This was surprising because my friends and I were only one of three tables sat in the whole restaurant. When it did though the table side salad creation on the steak salad was really fun. The salad itself was tasty but nothing extraordinary.

I love this place. I bring my wife and 3 small children here. Delicious food. Great drinks. Cadillac margaritas and 1800 flaming fajitas are what i ALWAYS order. Will continue coming here. No wait. Our second time coming to El Torito in Stockton, picked up a family fajita dinner and did not regret it! Everything was great, I wish they filled up the rice and beans just a little more but next time I’ll just order more of the sides, no big deal! Service was fast, we made our order online and one of the girls came out quickly and was very sweet! The order was complete and she made sure everything was inside the bags for us. We will be back! The food was delicious. Prices were reasonable. The service though was not up to par with the prices and atmosphere. Granted they had plenty of servers around to assist us, the server assigned to our table was not so available. She was friendly yes, I give her that. But I was hoping she would have been more attentive to her customers. I know being a server is no cake-walk, so kudos to all those who are still busting it.

Sitting outside in the sun was lovely with amazing waitress who was very attentive and friendly. The food menu seemed different since I have last been there, so I am looking forward to trying some of their newer options next time I visit. Waitress was really nice, but eating outside was not as nice as being inside. Kinda cold, and the outside area could have been picked up better. Food was pretty good, and chips and salsa were very good as well. Service was very good with order and food coming out quickly. Had not been there in a long time. I'd try it again on a nicer day or evening and hopefully be able to eat inside. Pretty good considering the cold weather.

I do not recommend going to El Torito for anything except brunch, happy hour, and/or taco Tuesday. Their regular food is whatever. I never was a fan. Their brunch however was amazing. We loved the variety and those pancakes were so good. I have only 1 problem. We got there a little late. Brunch ends at 2. I asked them if they end it at 2, can we still have brunch since we were seated pretty late. They reassured me that they would keep serving us as long as we were eating. Well 2 rolled around pretty fast. I went to get food, everything was gone. They didn't give us a warning. Plus they seated us far in the back where no one could really see us. I was pretty unhappy about this. I like the food, but if I would have known they would do that I could have ate somewhere else.

This is one of my all-time favorite spots to come to in Stockton. Whether it’s for a Sunday brunch, a nice dinner or just simple drinks and conversation. This place always seems to come to mind. I’ve also been here a couple of times during football season, as it’s nice to have a couple of drinks at the bar watching the game and eating some good food every now and again so I want to spark up some good conversation as well. We decided last minute to have dinner at the spot as a previous other choice had a very extensive weight. Once we arrived here we only had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes. Stopping here made for an awesome night.

Didn't took long to get a table. Guy was really nice with the drinks and the food was being served fast. The lady in charge of the dessert table didn't know what she was doing, she looked confused as to what to do or what was in front of her when I asked what was sertain items where she just gave me a puzzled look.. Overall everything was good but it does need a bit more variety and work at the dessert table.

Went in with the wife and kids. Food wasnt bad ordered dessert first because well you never get to it and always take home food so why not try it! Either way only got one refill and drinks were empty for a while for and by the time the food came the plates were super hot which makes me think it sat for a while which I'm sure it did as everything the waitress did took a while. Spent about 110 for a dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids overall could have been better for first time there

You can take a lot of pictures while waiting for your food to be serve because they have nice picture frames and a fountain inside the restaurant. It was my birthday & 2 days before Christmas. It was late in the evening. There was like 10 of us. They got us in VERY quickly. We couldn't make up our minds. We had a young baby & a very rambunctious, slightly autistic 7-year-old with us. The waitress and staff were amazingly patient with us. Food was WONDERFUL. Drinks were great. Our server Alejandra, went above and beyond. Then there was Rachel, a supervisor (I think), made it's so warm and comfortable. Felt like being home. We will definitely be coming back. Plus she deserves a scooter for Christmas. LOL.
