If you are anywhere near Lodi, do not think twice—just go! Of all the wineries we’ve visited in the area, Fields Family Wines takes the absolute crown. From the second we walked in, the vibes were unmatched. Our host, Troy, was incredibly fun, welcoming, and kept the energy high and the wine flowing. We also had the pleasure of chatting with Ryan, the winemaker himself, who is a total rockstar. It’s clear he pours his heart into his craft because he is hands-down making some of the best wines in the entire region. Literally every single pour was top-notch—not a single skip on the menu. Amazing wines, an incredible experience, and great people. Stop in, you won't regret it!
Had a great experience at Fields Winery with Troy and Keely. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the overall experience made it easy to relax and enjoy the visit. You can tell there’s pride behind what they do, from the hospitality to the quality of the wines. Definitely worth stopping by whether you’re local or visiting the area. Looking forward to coming back again soon!
Stopped in on a whim, had the pleasure of meeting Troy for a great wine tasting and tour. Each wine was more delicious than the last, even non wine drinkers in our party raved. Cherry on top is that they are dog friendly!
Incredible wines! Small lots, the wine is what it was…not manipulated, just expressions of what the vintage really decided to show for each of the grapes each year. And Troy gets a 10/10 for his dad jokes and hospitality…mostly for the hospitality part. This is not a flashy, Disney experience- it’s a working winery and you will taste in a production room. If you want to taste wines with thought and effort behind them, you need to stop at Fields.
