I was hoping I could keep this place a secret… but that just wouldn’t be fair to Stockton. I was craving cheesesteaks for lunch and my usual spot wasn’t answering the phone. Then I spotted a place with a creative name and decided to give them a call. Turns out these guys are the tri-tip specialists, and they craft some seriously big, beautiful sandwiches. I ordered two: one loaded with tender tri-tip, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar, the other piled high with tri-tip, sautéed mushrooms, onions, and peppers. The second the wrapper came off, that rich, smoky aroma hit me—perfectly cooked tri-tip, no doubt about it. One came with sauce, but after just a couple bites I knew it would be pure sacrilege to put anything on this superbly smoked meat. This isn’t some frozen-meat-and-cheese-whiz joint. Everything here is fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and outrageously good. The tri-tip was so tender and juicy it practically melted on the tongue. They even offer homemade pies and some of the best macaroni salad I’ve had in a long time. Bottom line: this is my new favorite sandwich spot in Stockton. Put a fork in it, baby—these folks have got the best tri-tip around.

My daughter and I dropped in after her soccer game and I’m so glad we did. I gave 2 stars on atmosphere because I mean it looks shady on the outside and there’s no seating but other than that the food was absolutely amazing. The person who helped us was so nice and recommended the best food. My daughter got the Parmesan butter garlic wings and he said there’s just something about them and when she took her first bite she said the same thing. They also aren’t greasy and had lots of meat on them for wings. She also got the chocolate pie and he said the espresso in it was super good and when she got to that part of the pie she def said it hit. I got the Diablo tri tip sandwhich and it’s spicy but with all the flavors. I also liked that since the pie and ranch were cold items he put them in their own bag. Sounds dumb, but the little things like that show me that they care about their customers and products. Next time we are up there I’m going to take my husband because I def know he would enjoy it. This place is just one of those little places that you might be deterred from because the outside but you have to try it or you will regret it.

Good hole in the wall find! Owner was incredibly generous and offered myself and my buddy some samples while we waited for our food. Good portions for a quick bite to pick up in the area! Highly recommend! Tritip had a great smokey flavour!

The owner SUPER NICE !!!! Food is phenomenal!!! VERYY VERYYY TASTY Everything was fresh! Steaming hot! Restaurant is clean on the inside & felt very well welcomed!! A 10/10

Don't miss out on this place! I wanted something sweet and saw online they offer mini pies, and a special daily dessert, BUT if you want the special call and ask them to hold it for you because they go fast! The customer service was great, very friendly, polite, and they told me I could bring my dog inside :) The burgers and sandwiches looked amazing, I will definitely be going back for a meal! The tri-tip sandwiches is what I will order on my next trip. The keylime pie was so refreshing it hit the spot in this heat! It was tart, creamy and delicious! We also got a apple cheesecake that was just as good, smooth and creamy! If you go on their social media, they list their special dessert for the day. Try them out!
