My favorite place to buy books in Stockton. That’s not saying much as there’s really only this place, Mr. Otto’s on Miracle Mile and the Barnes & Noble at Weberstown Mall that is keeping this city from becoming completely illiterate. Including thrift stores, there’s not many places to buy books in Stockton. 🥲 I enjoy the store’s social media presence on Instagram, and have appreciated the help from staff when holding onto a specific book for me. Always a fun little treat to come here every once in a while on the weekend. My particular favorite section to check out first is usually the sci-fi/fantasy corner in the back. Will also need to take more time to look at the store’s DVD collection. Also appreciate that they sell vinyl and board games here too. In Stockton, your options are almost always limited, which I think makes it extra special when you find something really good, like a scavenger who just found a gem amidst a bunch of scraps. In general, that’s the feeling I get, a jolt of excitement whenever I find something really good at a used bookstore, thrift store, or flea market.
This place is amazing. You will find something to read for sure. The vintage Sci-fi Fantasy selection is the best in our area.
If you are looking for reference books, collectable books, thriller, and so much more. This is the place.
It's always a nice and calm vibe in their shop. The owner is very kind and generous. It's one of my favorite places in town to have a peaceful outting. Excellent prices as well.
I love this place. I never leave empty handed. I always find plenty of gems. The prices are great, they often times have sales going on for multiple different genres. Perfect place to find gently used books for every genre you can think of. The staff is really nice and helpful.
