GF AF* Bakery is a locally owned and operated business here in Stockton, California. The Bakery started out of necessity but has grown to be a labor of love.

5 years ago I learned, the hard way, that I can no longer eat wheat or gluten. Like so many of us non-glutens I tried buying gluten free and wheat free baked goods in stores and online, they were all mediocre, to put it nicely. Tasted like cardboard, gritty, tasteless, sound familiar? So I got to baking, with my mother being a chef and my father an enthusiastic taster, I had some of the basics with me.

Thru trial and error I started building my own little repertoire of recipes and tricks that made for tasty baked goods. In 2016 my husband said with his mouth full of cupcake:

“YOU SHOULD START A BUSINESS!”

So, I did and the rest is history.
