This place is the best. I've come so many times! The chocolates you use to build your own bags change seasonally, which makes it fun to keep coming back. Based off the sign and size of the building it's in youd think it's bigger than it is, but even though it's small the chocolate is great and they have ice cream too!
Absolutely love this location, I’m not from the area, but whenever I pass through I like to stop. Plenty of parking. Tons of items inside, sometimes the “sale price” isn’t far off of regular price so just be heads up, very clean store, safe area, and friendly staff. Will return and highly recommend. Very easy on and off the freeway if you’re just passing through.
Love this place! Their ice cream and chocolates are the best. I'm so happy to see that they have a mini size, perfect for kids and those who want a smaller portion.
They served almost the same ones in SF. It's a smaller shop with boutique where you buy the ice cream and so on. Can get busy during the weekends. But most people come and go in a faster rate because there's nothing else to do but eat or shop for chocolates.
I had just passed the In & Out heading north on the 5 and was lamenting how there were no signs for anything until you were upon it, when I noticed the sign for the Ghirardelli Chocolate Outlet and Ice Cream Shop. It had been probably 8 years since I was last there, so I got off the freeway and headed in. It was a very nice break in an otherwise long three hour drive. The prices on the chocolates seemed reasonable and the ice cream shake that they made me was delicious. When I came in there was no one from the staff there, so it took a moment to get service, but the service was excellent.
