Heritage Oak Winery is located on an isolated stretch of Woodbridge Road six miles east of Lodi, California on 106 acres of property that nestles up against the north bank of the Mokelumne River. The winery was built beneath a towering blue oak tree that dominates the landscape for miles around.
The tasting room is open every day, and features a stunning line up of crisp whites and fruit driven, full-bodied reds. We also have a beautiful hiking trail down to the river, where you are welcome to picnic and enjoy.
Tasting Fee:$10.00, refunded with purchase.
Heritage Oak Winery is a great place to stop for a tasting, glass, or several of each! The wine was excellent. They were very family friendly and super nice people. They also let you walk through the vineyard to the river behind them, which is a great spot to sit and enjoy the nature or let the kids splash around.
Beautiful outdoor area for tasting, delicious wine flights, and a lovely trail to walk to the river below the vines... definitely will come back here if we return to Lodi!
A very chill vibe to the whole place. Plenty of outdoor seating with a peaceful rustic farm feel to the whole place. Wines were solid and tasty. I would recommend this winery to anyone.
Great place good customer service wine nice spot to sit down on the patio area with music good wine and company.
Love the wine and they had live entertainment with an art festival. Fun day.
Very nice winery, we enjoyed the tastings on their lovely patio. One of the co-owners Tom, stopped by and asked how we were doing. Later, Carmela, his wife & co-owner, spent about15 minutes with us, discussing restaurants and which other wineries we should try, she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. She marked up our maps with excellent recommendations and set the tone for the rest of our stay.
Delicious, crisp, flavorful wines. I opted for a whites and rose tasting flight and each tasting was wonderful in its own way. Can’t wait to come back. $15 flight tasting fee which is generous considering exchange wine is a winner.
Heard music and enjoyed a nice glass of wine on patio. Beautiful breeze, relaxing, and a sweet server. Remembered walking the trail to river with my daughter a few years back, fondly. Great place to refresh!
Friendly, personable, off the beaten track. Beautiful picnic/tasting area. Owners greet you! A wonderful expert!
Love this place! The people, location, and the WINE! We always have a great time. Gem of a find. Tom and Camilla are fantastic people not to mention Cusco...what a character :) Dont ask me why we're not members yet...still haven't figured that out. Looking forward to their Friday concerts.
Having just come from Napa it was really refreshing to visit a working man's winery which has wine that is just as good as Napa without all of the tourists and high prices. Tom is a welcoming host and a great vintner.
Beautiful winery. Delicious wines. Easy walk with your glass of wine down to the cool river. Definitely worth the drive off of Hwy 88.
Beautiful setting and great wines. Really a great place to relax and enjoy the vineyards.
What a nice place, lots of trees for shade. Had a wine tasting event that was set up very well, had 5 flights of 5 wines. Great idea, all samples on little bottles, pour at your leisure. Good service, very friendly.
I have been a wine club member of Heritage Oak for 8 years. Every time I go it is always fun! The wine is amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful.
Great wine, stellar prices, awesome live music, and super knowledgeable and helpful employees. The owner is a super kind individual and I love bringing friends here.
Very friendly and knowledgeable local winery. They sell most of their product locally and have many varietals.
Some of the best zins I’ve ever had! We stopped by on our way back home from angels camp, and are so glad we stumbled upon this gem. You must give it a try!
Cute, off the road, friendly, and peaceful winery. Great shaded outdoor seating that is well spaced
Very rustic, family owned charming place. Dog friendly and kid friendly. We did not have time to take the trail down to the river. Apparently you can picnic there. Definitely going back. The wines were great too!
We arrived the day after xmas. Our gracious host Tom greeted us as we came in and escorted us to our site overlooking the river under magnificent valley oaks. In addition to their various batches of wine, balsamic vinegar and olive oil from neighboring farms were available in the tasting room. We purchased their Zinjo, a spicey red as well as a Sauvignon Blanc. The Zinjo was delicious. We're waiting to open the white wine this evening. The estate has a well maintained trail that weaves among the hundreds of acres of vines and the riparian landscape. In one small meadow, we sat a spell in Adirondack chairs under the canopy, a welcome if too brief respite from all covid worries. The estate is less than 15 minutes from historic downtown Lodi and it's small shops and restaurants. Visit Heritage Oak. You won't regret a single minute. Mark and Arlene
This was a great experience. My wife loved the wines and our interactions with the owners and other guests were excellent. The outdoors tasting area was extremely pleasant with all the beautiful landscaping. Definitely a 5/5 Star 🌟🌟🌟 🌟🌟 place!
Very nice atmosphere and awesome family that runs the place. We had a good time trying their wines and relaxing. They also have a oath that leads to the river. Check it out.
Very hospitable and welcoming people despite a very busy day. We had a table in the shade and the tasting was accompanied by cold water and crackers. Each taste was in a labeled bottle with regular wine glasses for actual tasting. Prices were reasonable and our bottle purchases offset the tasting cost. We bought more than we had to as the wine was actually quite good. We will visit again.
Great wines at an amazing price. Beautiful patio and a bit of live music. What else can you ask for!
ZINHEAD is absolutely the best Zinfandel. I tasted it at the Lodi Grape Festival 2021.
