We were here for 5 days and the staff, comfortable room, nice breakfast made it feel like home!! It is well ran and the facility is well taken care of. There is security at night watching over the parking lot, and grounds. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and we highly recommend it in the city of Stockton and local environs.
I really like this hotel. I like that the hotel has that spa smell throughout the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. My balcony did not have chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The breakfast was your basic continental breakfast(lounge closed due to remodeling). They do need an extra hostess if they want people to wait to be seated. It was only one and some mornings the line to be seated was long. Location is minutes from shopping and eating.
Enjoyed our stay here in the upgraded rooms. However, the doors from other rooms slam really loud and are quite disturbing. The noise travels a lot in the hallways. This is with a noise machine one. There was some high school or college kids making a significant amount of noise after 10:00 pm multiple in and outs (door slamming) across from our suite. One call to concierge and security was there in a few minutes and took care of it. Gretzky appreciated. - a star for gouging for not providing internet speeds that are adequate for day to day use in 2023. It’s pretty petty to gouge guests for faster speeds IMO. When a person is paying $200 plus a room. They def. Rushed to complete their renovations as there was still some painters tape on our wall, a phone jack hanging out of the wall on the floor and the shower doors when wet slide open spraying water onto the floor. Also the exit of the shower is on the wrong side as it puts you directly in-front of the toilet. Small oversight. Parking was included and the ladies that clean the hotel are excellent. Check in was a bit slow.
This place has a great view on the street of the canal. It is very peaceful and the staff are very friendly. The location is perfect that I could walk to get fast food, restaurants, or even light shopping. It's very close to the freeway. I normally do not like sleeping in beds that are not my own. But these beds were very comfortable! There's also food and drinks inside the hotel, plus a self-service laundromat. I give 2 thumbs up for everything this place has to offer. Well done, Hilton of Stockton. For my future trips, I will pick this location first.
Lobby area was great. Rooms were nice and clean. Very spacious. Parking lot gets full quick of your not there early enough. Located near country club and many restaurants. Beside some leaks in the hallways. I will definitely stay here again
The Good: If I was rating this review entirely off of my experience with Brian at the front desk it would be all the stars. He was great. He made sure we had the room we requested, extra pillows, a fan, and even let us borrow his personal phone charger because we could not find ours. The room was nice, the lobby is lovely, and they provide a nice breakfast. The Bad: The hotel has an outdoor hot tub. I have a recent injury and was very much looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub. I actually called ahead to make sure it was open and was assured it was. It was not. It was very hot the evening we were there and although we had the air conditioning set to its lowest setting it never got below 77°. We had an executive King room which was supposed to have bath robes; it did not. The vending machine on the 5th floor charged me $5 twice for 2 drinks that were supposed to be $2.50 each.
Brian at the front desk is a rock star, elite! We came in last minute without a reservation and he took care of us. The rooms are modern, clean, and FINALLY a hotel room that's bright enough that you can actually see what you are doing... especially the bathroom. They were wise and didn't put a dark wall opposite of the mirror wall. I wish every hotel I stayed in paid attention to detail like this hotel did. Breakfast wasn't included with the room, but hot meal with all the breakfast necessities for $15 is a good deal.
I am a Diamond Member. I stay at a lot of Hilton’s. They have a great restaurant and this salad is so very good! Too bad the customer service wasn’t the greatest. I checked in Thursday night. I bought the package deal that included breakfast. The next morning I found out I was supposed to get vouchers so I had to go back to the front desk for them. I was given the attitude as if I was already given them. It’s me, myself and I here. What am I going to do with all these breakfast vouchers in two days lol. Then my bathroom light breaker keeps going off. Kid they sent to fix, reset the breaker is all. Well at least I know how too so I don’t bug them. Then the bar tender when I told her “I’m deathly allergic to blue cheese” she said “well don’t order it”…… okay….. anyways, I check out tomorrow and next time I’ll stay at Marriott.
Lovely hotel. Room was spacious on the 5th floor. Geese are a plenty out front in the duck pond but if you close the patio door it's not bad. Would definitely stay again. They have Tesla Superchargers in the parking lot.
Beautiful hotel. The lounge is exceptionally nice. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. Walking distance to plenty of good food and drink. Driving distance to San Joaquin and Tracy. Prices are very reasonable. Rooms are nice.
Very nice room, My only complaint was the LED lighting in the bathroom was very dim, not that I need a lot of light in the bathroom but it made a little hard, unexpected from a hotel room.
So far so good room is super nice the front desk people where super awesome and welcomeing and what was awesome they were very welcoming to my children this place is a must stay
Checkin Clerk is first class night shift clerk avoid at all cost. Ask for the top floor if you like quite. Super beds real good nights sleep.
Room wasn't ready when we arrived. Then were told the room wasn't available. Had to speak with the manager and then everything was perfect.
Actually a very nice hotel, I would give a 5 star, but the diverter in the shower was not working properly so most of the water was flowing out the tub spout instead of shower head. I arrived at night and didn't bother to request a different room at that point. The room was clean and comfortable otherwise.
So I do not put the good without the bad as well. I start with the bad in hopes that the good outweighs it all while still letting people know of the small unforeseeable things. After a long process of getting very frustrated with another hotel we stayed here. I will jump back but after the night we had with a 1 year old kid upset, it was indeed time for a nice shower and bed. We got half of that. The shower would not get cold what so ever. After a call downstairs the rather abrupt and rude lady that was working at night and trying her method of letting the water run for 15 min, I had to go downstairs to which she explained she'd never heard of the issue (so it must not have existed) she issued us another room to shower in. That is the extent of the bad, oh well also get snacks at the hotel or elsewhere the 7-11 around hand the corner not a great place during the day and only gets worse at night. The good though as I said outweighed the bad. I walked in greeted by a clean well kept up reception area. The hotel make up is on the older side of things but it works. At the front desk Bryan made my frustrations go away almost instantly, I would give him 9/10. He was patient, understanding, and not once was his reaction to downplay me and defend the company. He had good food recommendations and explained the process to me very well. The day of checkout there was a nice young girl working the front named Anastacia who was very very understanding and knee the process very well for what I was trying to accomplish. She even offered to leave my information with someone higher up the chain to call me, yeah right I thought. I hadn't even left the hotel before receiving a call. 9/10 customer service and professionalism for Bryan and Anastacia. Of course there was also Tanya I'm hoping you don't have to ever meet her but if you do she was acting manager at that time and went above and beyond making sure the other hotel knew what the issue was as well.. I'd give her a 9/10 and highly recommend these rooms to anyone family or single.
Attended an event. The food was great. Chicken Alfredo, lasagna, Caesar salad, cheesecake. Delicious. Venue was clean. Servers were considerate and polite. People at the front desk greeted me kindly.
We just left dirty, cocroach infested hotel to come here. Room is updated spacious and clean. Hotel has Starbucks, pool and spa, and more...and near by restaurants. It was worth losing our money from hotel we left and pay extra to stay here. I will definitely stay here again and recommend.
Decent experience overall! Two night stay. Had an slight issue with our first room. Let Sheila at the front desk know. She addressed the inconvenience and immediately set us up in another room. Super professional, much appreciated! This location is a little dated and the parking lot was a little more open than I'm used to. Restaurant inside was pretty darn good, overall positive experience.
This is the only decent reasonably priced hotel I have found in Stockton. The layout is a little odd but the staff were great and the hotel bar tender is a hoot.
Great experience, staff was friendly, rooms were clean and location is close to a lot of places to eat couldn’t be better!
Not impressive outside at all however the elevator and inside lounge areas are nice. The conference rooms are spacious and the room had a balcony which was facing the canals which is relaxing. I didn't like the huge gap at the bottom of the room door which allowed for you to hear everything and everyone talking in the hallway. The glass coffee table and decorations are a little dated but it's an older hotel. The TV is nice and big and staff super friendly. They have complementary breakfast and a Starbucks and restaurant on site.
The staff here are exceptionally amazing. So personal me and welcoming. The food isn’t bad. The beds are very comfortable. Great place to stay in Stockton
Went for a meeting. The conference area was clean and convenient. The water that was served tasted bad. It wasn't filtered. I suggest bring your own water for a conference other than that it's a good place for a conference. I didn't stay here and I don't know how the rooms are.
Weird spot for a hotel that size. I guess it's better than being downtown. Good space inside. Didn't stay in a room but went to an event there, it was nice.
Came here for a conference and was very impressed! Incredibly clean and well maintained! The food that was served for lunch was delicious and cooked perfectly! Friendly staff and very clean throughout entire building! Restrooms were very clean and in excellent condition. Would love to book a stay here soon!
Stayed here one night for work. Clean rooms and nice staff. Ask for non connecting room because you can hear noises from connected room. Other than that it was a great stay
I came to Stockton for a family reunion. And i stayed here at the Hilton. Very nice and clean room. The best fluffy pillows i ever slept on. If i ever come back to Stockton I will be here at the Hilton.
Usually come here and its a great experience. This time seems as tho the air wasn't working well. Was hot all night.
Clean room, nice staff, nice bar downstairs, and near other bars and restaurants in a safe area of Stockton.
Definitely the go to in Stockton for a quality experience for meetings and events. They have the most meeting rooms and space in the area. Staff is top notch and ready to make your experience a great one.
Custumer service was impeccable, at check in the front desk representative were kind and efficient. the downfall is the housekeeping, the bed was fine but the handles on my night stand had some kind of cream or lotion which let me know the room was not detail cleaned. any other time i would not care since i am just passing through but in today's pandemic it made me feel uneasy, the stand were the TV is set, there was sticky residue, I know its intense working as a housekeeper but this cant be happening specifically when our health is at stake. i hope they can change their cleaning procedures because you cant find the kind of service the ladies at the front desk provide just anywhere.
Lovely hotel and room. I'll be back. Daytime staff super helpful. Had a late check in. Night time staff, not so helpful.
The people were friendly the rooms were clean the parking lot was well-lit and it was the same price as the cheap hotel down the road but twice is nice
Quite, clean, great service, competitive pricing. Treat yourself. Who likes sleeping in a dive, I don't. Best hotel in the area.
Room is nice. The sounds from the hallway don't seem to be muffled too well. It's a little loud with people walking/talking and doors slamming. Luckily I sleep like a tank. Was surprised to see no microwave in the room but you can use the one on the little lobby store. Just a minor inconvenience but I can't wait till the hotel restaurants are back open. No pool which is just stupid. Not there fault though. It's just so hard to review places like this during covid. In comparison to Texas where I was last week this experience is terrible but like I said previously it's not their fault. I feel like they are doing the best they can taking the current situation into account.
I want to get a message to the manager of the Stockton Hilton. I spoke with Adam regarding an issue with my reservation and he was so helpful and kind. I would like the manager to be aware that his employee Adam is stellar and represents this hotel with professionalism. You all should be proud to have someone like Adam representing your facility. I so appreciate this kind of service. WE WILL BE BACK.
I went to this Hilton location after a terrible experience at a bargain hotel. Although Hilton was close to twice the price, it was absolutely worth it. Never again will I choose price over quality. Hilton proved I could count on them to provide a clean, safe environment, and even being on a budget, my safety and comfort were worth more than saving some money.
I felt very safe staying at the Hilton. In addition to the staff being masked, there were sanitizing stations everywhere in the public areas, proper signage requiring the use of masks and staff members keeping public areas clean and disinfected in plain view. My room accommodations were very nice and the room was clean. And the staff was very helpful and friendly.
I found all the staff very courteous and eager to help. I had to zoom lecture for my college students during my stay, for which I was complementary provided a meeting room and with high speed WiFi, so my wife could be in the room watching TV. I want to thank all for making our stay enjoyable and successful. Keep up the good work. Very best.
Most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept in a hotel...especially after a long day of softball my daughter took a shower and crashed so comfortably!! The reception desk was very friendly and helpful!! I was also pleased that your fitness center was also open to get in a quick workout...and it looks like if it wasn't for Covid-19 you would have an excellent breakfast arrangement!! Can't wait to be back when you are fully opened!
Comfortable accommodations and professional staff. Likely the best quality brand hotel in Stockton. Could use updating but overall pleasantly surprised. Far better than some of the others reviews I read. Pretty nice and tranquil location for Stockton.
Great stay. Clean rooms and accommodating staff. I have family in Stockton so definitely my go to hotel from now on!
Nice hotel. Had a minor glitch. But my girlfriend resolved the issue. Stayed here multiple times. Enjoyed every time.
Once you are inside, the hotel is fine. Like everything else in stockton, you don't want to be outside. We witnessed someone smashing windows in the parking lot. Stay there at your own risk
Quiet and comfortable. Lots of free parking. Room was spacious and clean. Covid protocols were in place. Loved the retro vibe of the place. Was only here for one night but would definitely return.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent service! They had a room available the same day for me, and when I walked in the room it smelled amazing! Just like their Verbena and Lavender soap. They have a nice standard checkout time of noon as well, so you don't have to rush out in the morning.
Very clean hotel and the staff were very good. Probably the best in Stockton. You need to open up the restaurant and provide room service.
Very friendly and accommodating after a long day on the road. The hotel is beautiful and the staff made us feel welcome
It was an amazing to stay here. The room and breakfast were very comfortable.
Good place to stay for the night. Hotel is clean n safe to stay. Staff is helpful.
This is a proper hotel. I loved the architecture and the main lobby area. Service was good as well. The sports bar is quite convenient
