Enjoy delectable Filipino dishes such as lumpia, chicken adobo, pancit noodles, smoked mackerel, fried tilapia, lechon kawali, chicharon, and more at Island Gourmet! Island Gourmet’s kitchen only uses the freshest ingredients. All dishes are made from scratch in their kitchen. Island Gourmet also includes a small market.
Small filipino store with an eatery inside. The food is very good. The pancit could use a little more fish sauce but it's good. So is their leche flan. Very yummy.
Always good, we travel the 35 minute trip at least 2 times a year. Real good authentic Philippine food.
If want some Filipino food and sweet dessert craving this is my go to place. They are very affordable, good food, clean and the staff are exceptional. The owners are very nice. If you want any sweet dessert like Cascaron (deep fried sweet rice donut) you got to be there early as they sold out quick. Love this place. Their food is always fresh.
Been coming here for decades. Whenever I want a taste of home this is my #2 spot in town. Good food and reasonable prices. I needed lumpia for a party - walked in and got 50 pieces for $24 in a matter of minutes. Sorry, no pics - they did not last long 😊
Yummy... Some of the best authentic Filipino food in Stockton. I always like trying new things something I go.
definitely one of the best small filipino places to go to for great food. highly recommend.
This restaurant is more accessable than the other filipino restaurants. They have staple dishes they cook everyday and I think they have 2 or 3 dishes that they change everyday (special for the day). The staple ones are pancit, adobo, tagalog pinapaitan, dinuguan, pinakbet, lechon kawali, fried mackerel/tilapia, sinigang (fish/pork/beef), and some appetizers just to name a few. Also the other half of the place is a mini grocery area. The only thing I do not like is the palabok, I think they do not use the palabok mix that's why it is bland even if its combined with tinapa /chicharon. It might just be me but give it a try if you want. Its the thick noodles not the skinny ones like in Jollibee.
The food is consistently well prepared and flavorful, staff members provides fantastic customer service. I really like how neat it is and vibes. Worth a try.
So far one of the better Filipino restaurants I have tried so far in Stockton, CA
They always have the bread that I look for everytime. And their price is reasonable. I always ended up buying more things. Food is good and employees are so efficient, the waiting is not that long if any.
Filipino hot meals to go! Try it, see if you like it! I consider this place to be the rainbow faire of fruits, vegetables AND omega 3 fats - with its mackerel, fish broth stews, and other bbqs fish. The Filipino ratatouille, is a healthy alternative to deep fried seafood and veggies.
Good Filipino Cuisine! Friendly and courteous staff. They also have a mini groceries that sells fresh fish, meat, fruits, etc.
The selection is becoming less plentiful ever since the virus has come out.
When I'm craving for good Filipino food ... This is the place. Pansit, adobo, pork menudo, Casava dessert, fried fish, chicharon .... N more Went there last Sunday ..... they had Pork Afritada with pineapple n with rice ... delicious ... tasty .. fresh. Had sesame balls . Great late lunch. Lots of Filipino grocery items ... canned goods , noodles, sauces, frozen stuff ... like langonisa, also fresh vegetables. Guinataan was available that day
Rice was good but the BBQ chicken and pork skewers were amazing.
First time. Looking everywhere for lumpia wrappers. Here they are. Ordered Pork Adobo. I liked that the adobo was in one Styrofoam container, rice in another. I could put together as I choose. Very tasty too. I'll be back.
Been going to this place ever since I was a kid. Definitely brings back that feeling of being back home.
The food is good.. fresh fish has always been "fresh" every time I have gone in to buy. When you see many Filipino people lining up to get food for take out and dine in... it peaks curiosity... So we tried it and it's been worth it every time we've been there. Well worth a visit if you have never been there 😉
One the the best filipino restaurant I've been, hands down great food and good people and good vibe
If you love Filipino food this is the best place to Go. customer service is mediocre but the food is fulfilling.
This place ia more focus on the restaurant because the supermarket is small, not complete and very messy. They sell fresh philipino foods and you can seat and eat inside. The tables are too close to each other.
Delicious food, if you like pinoy food. The place could use a renovation as far as ambiance. Had a line, but usually pretty fast serving.
Saturdays are really busy so the line was long but it is "oh so worth it!" Delicious!
