I can't really speak to the produce, but I 1000% recommend Jacob's for the homemade gummy sweets. The regular gummy worms are incredible, as are the peach rings. Best we've ever had we went back on our way back to the Bay just for these
Excellent fresh locally grown fruit/produce; family owned/operated; friendly staff. Lots of parking; was not crowded. Conveniently located on Yosemite about a half mile east of 99. No cherries at the supermarket yet on the day after Mother's Day. Went to Jacob's Produce and they had loads of big, tight, sweet and delicious cherries; as well as large selection of other quality fruits and vegetables. Purchased 4lbs of cherries that were even more delicious after a couple hrs in the fridge; a jar of galic/jalapeno-stuffed olives; and a pack of beef jerky--they also have deer, alligator and other wild game jerky. Everything I bought was very good; and they will now be my go-to fruit/produce guys.
This is a really great fruit stand! Lots of mostly local produce, which of course means it varies with the time of year. I really like there local honey, the orange blossom honey makes an AMAZING sparkling mead! The only potential negative is the fruit is ripe and juicy right now, so plan on enjoying it soon!
