For five generations, the LangeTwins family has been growing sustainable wine-grapes in the Lodi Appellation and in 2006 they opened a winery to showcase their passion for farming – because great wine starts in the vineyard.
LangeTwins offers the traditional wine tasting experience as well a a variety of different tours and tasting experiences. Check out what they have to offer!
Tasting Fee: $10.00. Refunded with purchase.
Reservations are required for six or more. Private tastings and winery tours are available by appointment.
Love the wine here! The atmosphere is industrial, but if you can overlook that, you are in for some good wine.
So my uncle brought the LangeTwins Rosé to a family feed and it was so remarkably good (even for this 99% only red wine drinker) that I knew I had to visit. Came in 30 minutes till closing on a random weekday but I still got great service and was welcomed warmly and didn't feel rushed at all. This tasting room is housed in a somewhat industrial facility (i.e. it is not out in the middle of a field of vines, but rather next to the bottling plant) but has tons of parking and a Tesla charger. The walkway is lined with seating areas and water fountains leading towards the main tasting room. In the tasting room, you can choose a few wines (was it 5?) off of their menu for the tasting. When I went, they were serving an equal number of whites and reds, so any palate should have options. Their tasting menu also has suggested cheese pairings and guests can buy charcuterie straight from the tasting room to accompany their wines out in the seating area. As per the wines, my personal favorite was the rosé, which was even better than I remembered. It's tied for the best rosé I've ever had with a bottle out of Napa that goes for 3x the price. With club discount, this one goes for only $13 (😱), which is a level of quality for price point I don't think you'll be able to find anywhere else. I was also quite pleased with the lineup of reds I tasted and walked out with several, again at excellent prices. One last anecdote: At the end of my tasting I decided to sign up for the wine club, and by the time I got home to SF, I had a handwritten letter from Katie, the person who handled my tasting, recapping our conversation and welcoming me to membership. That should tell you just about all you need to know about this winery and the type of people who run it. Would definitely recommend a visit!
The tasting room is on par with Napa Valley wineries - very upscale. There was live music the day I arrived. Expect a long walk from the parking lot. I did not care for the wines at all. The cost of the tasting was $10 a bit more than the usual tasting fee in Lodi.
Love this place! The people are awesome. Very welcoming and love the events. The only winery where we will go to for events.
The winery is a massive facility, compared to the other Lodi wineries. The tasting room is gorgeously made with two bars and a section for tables. The wines are mainly Italian varietals and they are well made. The staff was friendly and willing to explain their wines to my daughter's friends. We bought a couple of bottles and I'm already planning on going back to try the red they are releasing in May.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! A few years ago my mom and I attended a wedding where they served LangeTwins Moscato and it soon became our favorite wine! Fast forward to February of last year my mom passed and when she did I searched for what seemed like forever for this wine. When i finally found it I had placed my order online and patiently waited. Fed ex returned my order saying I had declined it without ever even trying to deliver it. 🙄 so I had to wait more time, but THANKFULLY LangeTwins is AMAZING and sent it BACK out super fast and with an extra bottle! Wow! I’m amazed! Thank you so much for sending me a little piece of my mama back.
This is a nicely landscaped property with a very attractive wine tasting room. The counters are quite unique and are made of a single large slice of a tree. Lange Twins wines are consistently good and we enjoyed our flight of 5 from the 10 available. Rather than pay the $10 pp. tasting fee, a purchase is recommended. Prices range from $15 to $30 with some reserve bottles pushing $60.
Great ambiance. Although our visit was during Covid, the outdoor experience was fantastic. The wine was delicious and was very impressed with the variety of varietals. 🍷🙂
