Lavagnino Orchards is a family owned and operated business established in 1985. This farm specializes in the production of premium quality cherries and sell their fruit seasonally through a quaint roadside cherry stand along highway 88 as well as to the wholesale market. The fruit stand is typically open early in the month of May and will operate for about a month during cherry season, depending on weather and crop harvest.
When the Lavagnino cherries reach their peak flavors they are gently hand harvested and hand sorted to ensure only the highest quality of fruit leaves the property. Cherries are picked based on the demand of the day and sold within an hour or two from when it is harvested to ensure the fruit stand has the freshest and sweetest fruit. This process is key in assuring the satisfaction of their customers and maintaining the quality of the cherries. Each basket that leaves the Lavagnino property has been cared for as if it were to end up on their very own dining room table.
