Grab yourself a delicious donut...or a dozen delicious donuts at Lindy's DO-Nut Shop in Downtown Stockton! This little shop is a local mom and pop and has been in the business for over 60 years. Have you every had a potato flour donut? They have them at Lindy's. A must try before work. Pack up a box for your coworkers and you will quickly become the office favorite. But you can also grab a bag of donut holes so you can eat them at your desk and no one will know. Enjoy!

You can tell it used to be an old diner which would be great if it was an old diner and maybe a donut shop also. They really don't have that many donuts there but it was later in the morning at about 10:30 a.m. . But the donut was actually really pretty good.
Their maple bars/donuts are my favorite and have been for over 30 years. Still as good as the first one I tried many years ago. Lindy's maple bar love has become a tradition in our family passed down from my grandparents to my mom, to me and now to my kids. I hope they continue their tradition of making great donuts for many years. Their donuts are made with potato flour which makes them not quite as doughy as other donuts & gives them a lighter feel but it's the slight crisp crackliness of the thin layer of glaze breaking as you bite into the donut and that burst of maple followed by pillowy soft donut perfection that makes it so memorable. They're the best in town in my book. The neighborhood isn't the best but you can usually find parking in front or on the side of the donut shop. They sometimes run out and there'll be a wait for more to be ready for purchase. We rarely eat donuts but when I think of a truly good donut, I think of Lindy's maple bars (their other donuts are all good also, twists are runner up for me). If you're looking to start a new donut tradition or just to try something new and a little different, Lindy's is a great place to try. Have a maple bar for me.
Lindy's has THE BEST donuts in town! I didn't know about this place til I read an article in the Record. After 50+ years of making donuts (in the same location too!), this man has it down. No wonder he makes the best... years of practice, perfect donuts! They are not to be missed!
