Ana was very sweet and knowledgeable about the wines in the Lodi area… it would be nice to have more tables or comfy seats.
We took a leap of faith and went out of our way to visit this awesome tasting room. Great wines and great service .Located in what seems like a residential area. WORTH THE VISIT!
Great way to start your wine trip around Lodi. Very knowledgeable staff (including personal stories about founders of wineries and winemakers), great selection of different wines, and beautiful facility. While Lodi wines in general can be a little high in sugar, they are consistently enjoyable across the region. Can't go wrong.
We went to pickup our club order. Did a tasting of three wines. Did not disappoint.
The staff there were friendly. After the wine tasting, we bought 2 bottles of wine, that were very well packed for us. When I just arrived home and opened the package, I found the expensive wine club exclusive Heavy Hitter Petite Sirah was not sealed. I talked to the manager the next day and he explained some wineries simply send in their wines to the visitor center with the bottles not sealed. This exposes a safety concern to us, because the content of the bottle could be easily changed. It was said there were some environmental concerns with the foil sealing. If so, there should be some sort of replacement like wax sealing. Wine sold with the bottles not even sealed in any way is not acceptable.
