I go hear a lot, and usually the food is very good and the prices are more affordable than other spots. But their are also some issues with the bathrooms mainly the writing on the walls and what not. But all in all if you want to go get some breakfast with the fam or friends this is a decent spot to go for.
Went out for breakfast with my family while visiting them in California. Decor was fun, servers were friendly, coffee and food were hot and delicious, and serving sizes were perfect and plentiful. Overall excellent experience and will be returning next time we visit.
Nice large meals at reasonable prices. Attentive staff kept my water and coffee cup filled. Nice atmosphere and booths to enjoy eating and conversing.
Nice place! Clean! Very friendly and attentive hosts/hostesses. I ordered the Lumberjack meal. It was good...EXCEPT for my potatoes. They were not cooked thoroughly and weren't fresh, very disappointing because I wanted them so bad! But other than that, very large portions on the Lumberjack meal...a HUGE ham steak, bacon and sausage, French Toast, Eggs and the Home fried potatoes. Have hearty appetite when going...oh and enjoy the oldies but goodies playing in the background while dining!
Terrific food and service! Prior to pandemic this was a regular meeting place for our breakfast group. Huge selection and everyone was also pleased with omelets, sides, coffee, etc. Today I took a friend to lunch and the Sourdough burger (like a patty-melt) was amazing. Fresh fruit bowl was great. Friends had omelets and everyone enjoyed their meals and excellent service. Order was taken quickly and food arrived quickly.
The portions are huge. Most of the food is great but some of it not so much. The cornbread dressing that comes with the turkey dinner tasted like water. The loaded potato skins would have been amazing but they were over cooked. Not deep frying them would have been better. Oh yes they also need to scrub the backs of the chairs.
My husband and I barely sat down to check out their menu, server came to take our order and ask us if we needed a min? I replied yes. He literally walk away for a min and came right back and ask if we're ready. My husband and I look at each other and felt rushed so we just order what ever we see. Never again. Their goes part of his tip
Great service, delicious food. Awesome menu. Huge portions of comfort food. Breakfast is served all day. Not too busy. This place is perfect for breakfast or brunch.
The taco salads texture (namely the shell) was amazing. Great portions. Bang for your buck. Many options to choose from
We were traveling up I-5 and decided to stop for food in Stockton. Android Auto/Google maps showed Lumberjacks Restaurant right off the freeway so we stopped. Easy to find and plenty of parking. We were shown to a table and given menus. Another couple come in right behind us and the same hostess told them that she wouldn't seat them next to us because they turned on the AC and it will be cold. Nothing was said to us. Drink orders was taken and drinks were served. However, I also requested water it was never delivered. Also when we finished eating, the server put the bill on the table and told us to pay in the front. The tables in the next row were given check plates and they were handled by the server. Discrimination? Lazy? I don't know. The food we were served was average at best. Maybe the service colored our opinion.
Bring your appetite. Large portions. I ordered Eggs Benedict and I was not disappointed. There was a wait. Looked like a lot of local support for the restaurant. Server was helpful and attentive. We'll be back
Pretty good breakfast here with their pancakes, meat, eggs, and potatoes. Come here early before it gets crowded. Overall I enjoyed it but was not too hyped for the country potatoes. A little too salty but everything else was good, including the service!
To be honest first time and the good was amazing!i love the hospitality and the waitress was great at attending to our needs. The environment was chill and definitely family orientated my family had a great time loved the food and we love to have after meeting N-A dinners here i highly recommend it and the prices are manageable so i give it a five stars also i love the setup and scenery.
The vibe in the restaurant is superior. It is not a big place like other restaurants, and the food choices are excellent. For example, they serve the best burger ever, period. One pound jack burger is just something you need to challenge yourself to finish in one meal. I bet, you would love to try....
awesome breakfast, bacon is damn good! big portions, wish i had one in my town..if u get the cook that's really skinny and wears a hat and glasses..probably gonna send it back. But if u go early and get the other older cook hes the best.
Place was packed with happy folks and families. We had an informative and great waitress. The food was outstanding and the portions were bountiful! Truly a "Place where the Big Guys eat"! Salads are excellent too! Going back for the "Cajun Chicken"!😊
This was awesome! Babe ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy and I ordered the griddle platter. Food was great great great. Servers were polite and kind. Hot comfy coffee.
Got hungry and decided to try our local Lumberjack. As usual there was a waiting line of about 10-15 minutes. Service was great, and the employees were friendly and helpful. Ordered a Chicken Fried Steak (large one) and split it between us. Plenty of food for two. Meal was very well prepared and brought promptly to our table by our server Trina with the meal still hot.
Food was great and waitress very nice the only problem was that my family of 8 couldn't eat all together on fathers day because apparently they can only sit 6 people at one table.
This is by far one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Stockton to grab a big and hearty breakfast! Huge portions that leave you full all day and amazing home made biscuits! The chicken fried steaks are huge and delicious! Meals are fresh and cooked to order. Staff is friendly and fast at getting your order up. Lots of options for breakfast and lunch. Definitely an excellent option for the entire family to enjoy!
Had the Lumber Jack combo a healthy piece of moist ham, 4 sausage links, thick links, 4 delicious bacon strips, hash browns very crispy not burnt and 4 slices of french toast! I'm having the same thing for dinner. Superb food cooked to perfection l, try it out.
Very large serving....had beef dip could barely finish sandwich and only some of the fries....check it out
Waitress was nice and very helpful. Made me feel right at home. Food was excellent 😋. Biscuits could be better than what they were . Gravy was on point 😊. Best sausage patties I've had by far . Wasn't as packed as I would have thought although I did visit them on a holiday (Thanksgiving day). The wait for food could be a little more faster than what it was too. Other than that keep up the good work and continue doin y'all 😊☺️.
Love it! The people are very friendly. The food was awesome had a pick up this morning. Had my order ready when I got there and when I got home the food was still nice and warm.
It was great relief to find establishment where you can go inside and actually sit down and eat. I feel very safe and doing so they had all the right precautions and necessary means to do so. All the food was excellent. I had a biscuit and gravy along with my Bramble and it was one of the best biscuits and gravy I've had.
French Dip was outstanding! Even leftovers and cold it's amazing. Their french fries and incredible, one of the few places I will actually eat them cold. If you are going to dine in, you will want to plan for the wait, it was about 35 minutes today. Definitely worth it! The wait staff was great, taking the time to bring fresh dipping sauce and ranch dressing for our leftovers.
Open for dine in during covid ✔️✔️ This was a pregnant ladies dream. HUGE portions of hearty comfort food with really fair prices.. this whole meal was just under $40. The side pancake was my favorite out of everything we tried. Staff was really friendly, watched the game while eating. Will definitely be back soon
My goodness! The amount of food one person can possibly eat,I ordered the half portion of biscuits and gravy and struggled to finish eat, friendly staff nice environment. But we did have to wait 30 minutes to be sat as there was a line out the door, great specials Monday through Friday just have time on your hands if you go on a Sunday, but it was well worth the wait and the prices are reasonable.
My family and I decided to try this place, while passing through town and it is near the freeway. Portions are huge. 4 star rating because my fries were undercooked.. menu has lots of choices from burgers to breakfast. My wife ordered the French dip and it could have easily fed 2 people. Alicia our server was excellent. Try this place.
Great restaurant! I just pulled off the freeway for gas and stopped at this gem. My food was served fast and huge portions. I will definitely stop back if I am in that area again.
Been three times in the last two months. Once for breakfast, and two dinners. Huge portions. My partner and I opted to split the Chainsaw sando this last visit. We got a side dinner salad and seasoned fries. The server was very prompt, the cashier is friendly. He enjoys talking with everyone. The cooks seemed to be having a good time joking with each other. Pretty reliable diner experience the times we've gone!
The portions were big and the food was good. We had the garden omelet, eggs Benedict, and biscuits and gravy. Some items needed a little bit more salt but other than that, satisfied. I had a whole container of leftovers to bring home so you know you're getting more for your buck. Our servers were attentive and the service was quick.
If you ever find yourself thinking on a Friday night, where am I going to have breakfast at in the morning for Saturday. Lumberjack is a good place to go. You get a good cup of coffee if your coffee drinker or orange juice or whatever it may be of your choice. And a hearty breakfast. The portions here are pretty good. Like their cups say where the big boys eat breakfast. This was our second time visiting this location during Covid. But our first time sitting inside with what seemed to be back to full capacity. Had a great breakfast definitely a spot that gets packed pretty quick so do expect a little bit of a wait.
So far so good. I ordered via door dash and omg I definitely recommend the cinnamon french toast combo. Yummy yummy . The only thing is I didn't get any utensils or syrup. Other than that it was great.
My wife and I always love coming here. They make us feel welcome and feels like home. We enjoy the ribs in particular! Vee, Noah, Alicia and the rest of the gang always make it a great experience. Five stars hands down.
Very busy but not too bad for a Sunday afternoon after church. The food great and plenty of it which was a great value. The waitress was nice and friendly and it was a very good experience all around
Good food and good service. Really big potions and even bigger BURGERS. The food seems like it doesn’t come with any salt, so you must put your own. But that’s fine with me, because I’m trying to watch my sodium intake. Prices are not too expensive but not cheap either. Overall well worth it.
The service here is Always excellent. Friendly and attentive. Food is always good and no long waits. Good luck eating it all lol. Definitely need a nap after that breakfast.
