Overview
Mettler Family Vineyards specializes in Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Old Vine Zinfandel. We are a six generation farming family who has been farming in Lodi since 1899.
Their tasting room and event center is a picturesque destination for wine tasting, warm hospitality, weddings, picnics, and strolling the seven acres of lushly landscaped grounds.

We were looking for a new winery with a serene and beautiful landscape to replace one of our favorite wineries that no longer allows outside food (not everyone can afford to purchase food items all the time). We found that in Mettler Family Vineyards. The landscape is gorgeous, it's well off the main road which makes it quiet serene but no traffic noise; a great getaway. And, they welcome dogs (and kids)! The staff is wonderful, relaxed, and so friendly. Bree took care of us and she was amazing. This is is what we've been looking for so we can stop by enjoy a bottle or a glass of wine and get away from the craziness, and maybe even grab a sandwich on the way there. I highly recommend.
Mettler is a great winery and a must stop. They’re family friendly, we took our newborn and Lisa was super accommodating and friendly. Some wineries in the area are adult only, which is totally fine, but make sure you check before going. Feel confident in brining your kids here. We split a bottle of cab sav- delicious. Looking forward to coming back here again- thanks Lisa!
We were exceptionally delighted in this Vinyard. Everyone in the place was was the best reason to be there. All our fun and love go out to Lynette, the keeper of us crazy, and Lisa and Jessica and Mike who treated us as family. And than there was the charcuterie Queen, if you are looking for an incredible palate pleasing plate, she is the best. Obviously I haven't said anything about the wine because best for last. Truly the best we have had from Spokane Washington to Lodi. Exceptional.
Great wine and staff. We have been members for years now and we are very happy with their quality affordable wine. We love visiting the tasting room and getting a glass.
While looking at the menu for a tasting, we were greeted with our first samples of white as well as a pitcher of water and glasses. A pleasant conversation about where we drove in from and the usual without being invasive. If this is our only stop today I can say it was worth it. The setting once on the property is beautiful. Make sure to have a tasting if you're in the area.
