My husband and I sat at the bar last night Friday, we a great time speaking to Jerica and Preston. we shared oysters and the tomahawk. The tomahawk was huge!!!! We also had good conversations with people we met. Tomahawk is a little pricey but I'm telling you it's worth it, we took tomahawk home. I recommend ordering the tomahawk rare because of fear of chef overlooking meat. Tomahawk and eggs for breakfast 😋
Stopped in during happy hour for 1/2 price draft beer 🍺 and had the clam chowder in a bread bowl. It is to die for. I get the chowder nearly every time I go to Midgley’s Public House. The vegan wings appetizer is a favorite of my wife as well.
During my recent visit to Midgley's Public House, I had an absolutely delightful dining experience. The star of the meal was the succulent, juicy steak that was cooked to perfection. Each bite was tender and bursting with flavor, making it one of the best steaks I've ever had. The accompanying potatoes were equally impressive, with a crispy exterior and a fluffy, flavorful inside that complemented the meat perfectly. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. From start to finish, our evening was thoroughly enjoyable, and we left feeling completely satisfied. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving a delicious and memorable meal.
What an awesome date night. The steak was cooked perfectly and the service was just as good.
Went here on a Sunday at about 8pm as a random "I want a steak craving", they close at 9. Despite that and the fact I came in with blue sweats and a black T-shirt looking like I just got out the gym or a bum the hostess and server treated me very well. I didn't catch the hostess name but she had an M necklace and gold hair clip. Regularly checked on me with the server and filled my water multiple times. As an added bonus she was off and as she left she said have a good night; very surprising but appreciated. The server was Juli. Again checked on me regularly, asked if I needed anything, even if I wanted dessert. Keep in mind this is 830pm just before they close. As for the food it was good but not amazing to me. Ribeye was a little too fatty for my liking but was seasoned and cooked well. I liked the potatoes with this garlic stuff on it, but it was very strong. Won't be for everyone. Mashed potatoes were bland outside of soaking up the steak juice and garlic I was talking about. I do agree with another review, most things here are pricey but for what I bought, tasted, and being full I was content. Overall 100% would come again to try other things as this was my first time. Edit: I can't make many comments on atmosphere much as I chose to eat outside. But outside tables were clean and noticed they had misters if it was hotter and sunnier. Hence the 4 stars.
