Food: everything i’ve ordered so far has been delicious- including their thursday music nights food. Wine: variety of red, white and a brut- mostly dry (how i like it) they have a good set of crisp white wines- i prefer the fiano and for a nice strong red, i love their primitivo Service: always excellent Property: lots of seating- i love their patio with fire place in the middle. tasting room hours have been extended (yay!) They are always very nice here. They don’t discriminate. My husband and i are always impressed. I’m glad they started serving food again. Most of their wines are property grown grapes. Always love me some Oak farm. Free live music on Thursday nights.
Exceptional wine knowledge and personalized service from Kristina made this visit memorable. Oak Farm's tasting flight showcases some impressive varietals - particularly their unusual Falanghina and first-vintage Mourvedre, but Kristina’s expertise really elevated the experience. She clearly explained how the oak treatment affected the Chardonnay's flavor profile and compared it to unoaked examples, demonstrating solid technical knowledge. Beyond the individual wines, she showed impressive understanding of the broader Lodi appellation. Most importantly, she listened to our preferences throughout the tasting and made two spot-on recommendations beyond the flight menu: their Traditional Method Brut and 2023 Albariño. Both were home runs and became highlights of the afternoon. Kristina struck the right balance between education and entertainment, sharing vineyard history while demonstrating genuine wine expertise. Her ability to read customer preferences and translate that into successful recommendations shows real service skill. Highly recommend asking for Kristina if you visit!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The vine is excellent! Simply a beautiful place. Thank you Mitch for an amazing tasting experience! We must admit we’ll be enjoying our purchases and are looking forward to our club membership deliveries
I brought my girlfriend for lunch and a winetasting. We were greeted by Tracy who took us to our patio table overlooking the vineyard. She was a delight and made some great Food and Wine suggestions. Kudos to Chef! The wine tasting afterwards was so much fun, meeting others also tasting and our wine expert, Ted, was also a delight and shared the vineyard history. Thank you for the great experience and crew this afternoon!!
Elitist snobby place with good wine. No outside food allowed, can’t go on the patio unless you are a member, tastings only at the bar inside. The wine is good and the place is stunning but if you were looking for a cute relaxed tasting by the vines (and are not a member) this isn’t it. This is a commercial, spend-all-of-your-money for nice pictures, type of vineyard. There are better places for more casual and fun day trip/tastings in Lodi. Would recommend coming, walking around, take your picture, and leave.
