Wineries, Wine Tours
visited on a quiet tuesday afternoon in february. did not do tasting, just bought a bottle of wine and some food sat on the patio with our dogs. staff was friendly, view was great, wine was good, and it's dog friendly.
Wow! I live in wine country Sonoma County, where some of the best zins originate. This winery outshines sonoma county. I just experienced one of the best Zins ever! So glad to be a member. TY. My only pet peave is that once again my delivery was left in the sun in front of my house. Not secure and no signature. Not the wineries fault but maybe change the company who delivers for you.
Ted was awesome the place is really pretty and has some good wine. What I really liked is that you can take your own food and picnic there while you enjoy some good wine. Thursday's they have live bands and again you can take your own food if you'd like.
Had a tick trip into Sacramento and Lodi was a 30 minute drive. I wanted to visit a vineyard so I did a search and Oak Farm was a popular place on the different search engines. Very pretty setting. The tastings were very good. Really enjoyed the experience.
I don't have pictures of wine because I am not much of an alcohol drinker. I came to Oak Farm Vineyards to socialize with a large group of friends. There are outdoors and indoors seating. The popular choice is the outdoor tables and there was a minimum alcohol purchase for the table, which was easily met. I purchased $65 worth of cheeses, meats, and crackers from inside to bring to the outside table. The views of Lodi are beautiful. There were no vineyards this gorgeous when I grew up in the area. To get an experience like Napa or Sonoma, there is no need to drive that far. Oak Farms has the wines in a convenient location in the San Joaquin County.
Full disclosure, I do not consume alcoholic beverages, so my review will be purely on what my experience was on the premises. The place is small so it gives a more private feeling than other wineries I been before. Small parking lot but I did not have problem finding parking. The place was clean and well kept. I did not find trash on the floor or dusty tables. The seems to been friendly with small dogs which it is a plus for me. I would recommend this place for a quiet clam evening with you significant other. The only reason why I do not give this place 5 stars is, the drivers or people like me that want to enjoy time with in (my case) wife, there is nothing for me to drink besides water. This is where I think they need a lot of improvement because we all want to be in the safe side of things without compromising experience. Remember this is just my opinion of my first visit to Oak Farm Vineyards. Thank you and I hope I see you around.
We enjoyed the place a lot. Beautiful and amazing atmosphere, and the wine was good. I only wish they had better food than supermarket bought cheese and crackers served still in their package. Cheese platters and baked breads would have upgraded the entire experience and would have made us stay longer and come back the next time we’re in the area. It was borderline ridiculous.
What more can you ask for, a beautiful winery paired with great wines. We have been enjoying their wines for years and were finally able to visit the winery last week. We really enjoyed the tour of the winery. I can't recommend one particular wine because they are all excellent.
Oak Farms has an awesome tasting and production complex in the middle of nowhere. Their wines we were served were classic Lodi and quite good. They are not outrageously expensive. The people manning the tasting room were knowledgeable, but the tasting experience was decidedly flat. Admittedly, we were their first party of the day on a weekday. However, they seemed distracted and they didn’t pour anything off the tasting menu, even when asked. It was clear we were there to taste, not to drink. The wines we bought were nice, but their best stuff went unopened. So disappointing when it could have been so great.
I asked the Lodi Wine Visitor Center for a picturesque winery and I was not disappointed. The grounds are beautiful as is the building and outdoor seating. The wine was wonderful, I especially enjoyed the Zin.
My best friends brought me here as a surprise. They know I love to go wine tasting, especially with them, and I was not disappointed at all. My friends made reservations for a patio tasting and I must say it was absolutely lovely. The winery’s host brought out 4 wines one at a time, and explained in detail how long the wine is stored and the flavors it produces. With a patio tasting you are served a cheese tray with 4 cheeses to pair with the wines. All I can say about the entire experience is very simple, without any other adjectives whatsoever, Oak Farm’s patio tasing was awesome.
As a wedding vendor, we at American Vintage Rentals have provided rentals for couples getting married here in the Lodi wine Country. It is an ideal venue for a rustic-vintage, vintage chic, or winery wedding event. OFV provides stunning estate grounds for the Bride & Groom to be photographed, and the aesthetics (barn, grapevine arbor-covered patio, small lake and beautiful, oak tree ceremony spot) lend a canvas for setting up a memorable ceremony and reception area .
Came for the wine, stayed for the wine club. My wife and I enjoy the events here such as the concert on the lawn, barrel tasting and pairing dinners. The main tasting room is beautiful. We like to grab a bottle of wine, and bring lunch for a little picnic.
One of the prettiest venues in the area and great selection of wines. Staff courteous and friendly. Dont understand negative reviews on over 21 policy. Wine tasting is an ADULT activity (notwithstanding liability concerns) and personally, as a parent and grandparent, really dont want children playing noisily when I am trying to relax and enjoy the ambiance.
Was here on business. This is a very beautiful winery. Looking forward to coming back with the wife someday
Gorgeous, absolutely stunning grounds and facilities. The staff was knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. Loved the wine.
We had samples of a few of Oak Farm wines at a wine show in Monterey a while back. We really enjoyed what we tasted so we decided to make a trip up to Lodi to see what other wines from the region were like. Unfortunately we came by on the Lodi Wine and Chocolate weekend so every winery we went to was crazy packed. Oak Farm was no different. The place was a zoo but we did enjoy the wines they had for tasting. The grounds are very nice. We'll have to stop by another time when the winery isn't so crowded.
Today was our first visit back since the start of the pandemic. I booked the private 2-hour historical vineyard tour and wine tasting for a group of four. We really enjoyed our affable and informative guide Ted and the vineyard dog Bernie. Their wines were delightful as expected and staff reported no smoke damage from recent wildfires to their recent harvests. We assembled a mixed case to go. The staff wore masks, maintained social distance and followed hygiene precautions. All in all, this was a wonderful outing that was followed by patio lunch at nearby Wine & Roses.
Another lovely visit. Today, me and my friend drove the quick 30+ minutes from Stockton, CA to pick up the monthly selection of wines as part of the Oak Farm Vineyards “Circle of Friends” membership. We had a delicious bottle of Zinfandel with cheese and crackers in the tranquil ambience of the outdoor setting. Always lovely here. COVID-19 protocols are in place here. Masks required at all times except for sitting at a table eating and or drinking. Part of the local Lodi wine making vineyards community in a beautiful setting. Friendly and blissful for the individual or with friends. See photos here.
Wonderful day and amazing mood. Gorgeous place. Perfect customer service 👌
Julian made the tasting experience so incredible , it normally does take me personally a bit of time to get comfortable in a new space, but his openness and amazing service/hospitality made the tasting here not only enjoyable but memorable. Please go here not only is it beautiful it’s also relaxing
Great wine and even better fellowship. Several girlfriends had birthdays this month and we were celebrating!!
Impeccably maintained wine tasting center, professional staff, and a savory charcuterie board to accompany fantastic, flavorful wines. The old vine Zinfandel is one of my favorites and it was on today's tasting flight. (but the Fiano, pictured, was also yummy)
It was such an enjoyable tasting! Our server, Ted, was the best!! And wines were great! Who needs Napa?
Very impressed. Staff was very busy, yet gave 5 star service. The facility was outstanding. If you haven't been there.... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? You won't be disappointed.
Came late as it was our last stop of the day. It was closing time so we just had one glass of wine. It's nice with plenty of shade.
Comparable quality to the best of Napa at Lodi prices. Large , sparsely populated tasting room. And plenty of outdoor seating. Since Covid, there is no longer a wait list to become a wine club member. My recommendation: Join.
Beautiful venue. Friendly staff. We got here late in the day but we're still able to buy a glass of wine (we missed the tastings). We stayed for the live music and had a chance to enjoy the sunset! We will definitely be back!
1st time visiting this venue. Very impressed with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful grounds. Will definitely c9me back.
