Nice park. Be aware of lots of bird shit around the pond. Otherwise a nice place for disc golf and picnic or park day to enjoy the Summer season. Lots of shade from trees. CASH ONLY for entrance fee.
I love this park. It's $5 on the weekdays $6 on the weekend, and an additional $1 per dog. There are some nice walking trails. They aren't too long but its secluded enough that it feels like you're up in the hills. There are a lot of benches, tables for picnics, paddle boat rentals, and geese. Oh my, lots of geese. The goose poop is everywhere so plan to wash your shoes! The old oak trees are awesome. I love taking pics of them in black and white. The large playground area is closed, it would be nice for the kiddies of they would get that up and running.
I visited this park after years. Loved it. The little lake is beautiful. Its a fun place to enjoy nature.
This place is the best. It has a bunch of wild life with a wandering coyote. It has a big bike and walking trail. The staff handle the park very well.
