New owners and great updates. Love the salad bar addition. The meat, produce, and deli are my favorites. Clean and fresh EVERY time I am there. Great cashiers. We will be back....
They have an excellent deli counter-great selection of meats and cheese not available at regular chain grocery stores and friendly staff, to boot!!
Podesto’s Grocery Store is a spacious and clean spot, offering a large variety of items for all your grocery needs. The store is well-organized and maintains a high level of cleanliness, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience. However, it can be on the pricier side compared to other grocery stores in the area. While the selection is great, especially for specialty items, be prepared for higher prices, but the quality and cleanliness might make it worth the extra cost.
Podestos has the best meat/seafood department in the area. I live in Tracy which has nothing that comes close to comparison. Livermore Butcher Shop has comparable quality but is more expensive in many categories and lacks the broad array of seafood options. Podestos has phenomenal quality at very good prices. Great place for meat and seafood.
I can't say enough about Podesto's, everyone who works there is extremely friendly. I mainly go for the deli and the meat. All they guys that work in the meat department are amazing, and so is the meat and the prices are great. You can sign up online for their weekly circular and have it emailed.. not to mention their outdoor BBQ from 12-6.
