Overview
PONDL Winery is a testament to what happens when an innocent hobby gets out of control.
At Pondl winery, they explore many varietals and employ different techniques. Their goal is to make good wine for you to enjoy and it is their hope is that you’ll describe the outcome of their efforts as absolutely gorgeous!
We have converted the purple barn it into a modest tasting room and production area. We have created a cozy atmosphere filled with wine, music and a little flair! Surrounded by vineyards, the property is both practical and scenic.
So please stop by for a tasting and take in the view! We will be on hand to share our wine… and our story!

Pondl Winery may be on the smaller side, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in heart. David is an absolute gem—a fantastic orator who brings every pour to life with stories, history, and genuine passion. We truly enjoyed the wines, especially the Dolcetto and Cabernet Sauvignon, but honestly, we could have stayed all afternoon just listening to him. The labels are beautiful and meaningful, with such a thoughtful nod to both David’s and Pat’s heritage—it really adds something special to the whole experience. We only wish we could have met Pat as well. Wishing you all the best, David—thank you for such a memorable visit!
Hidden gem! Incredibly kind staff and delicious wines! Each tasting fee is waived with the purchase of a bottle and outside food is allowed. Will definitely be back!
Can’t say enough good about this place. Wine is excellent and David is so friendly. We had a great time tasting wines and talking. This is a must on your wine tasting tours.
Very good wines. It's a small, very cute winery. Family owned and operated. My favorites are their Sagrantino, Graciano and the Pino. They also have an excellent Rose`. Very interesting labels of family members & friends. The owner is friendly and entertaining. Love this winery.
The best people you will ever meet. Even if you don't enjoy wine, it's worth the trip just to visit with the owners. While youre there, say hi to my grandpa "The Fella".
