I want to go back for other sandwiches. I first had an order through Door Dash (Santa Cruz Sandwich and Golden Latte) and then I visited in person. Had the Dream Breakfast Croissant and another Golden Latte. They also have a lot of teas and other coffee drinks. I really enjoy their variety. Update: 6/23/23 - took my husband for breakfast, he had the Dream and I tried the Garden Bagel (but on Croissant instead). So good (shown in photo). I also had a small hot Minty Mocha.

Ordered dream sandwich. It was a nightmare . Croissant was not cut properly, whole sandwich fell apart. Rubbery sausage, too much sauce. Not worth 8 dollars. Ordered a regular breakfast sandwich a couple weeks later. Much better.

Always the BEST chai!! Spicy or vanilla, can’t go wrong. And the food is to die for. Kindest people behind the counter, great experience every time. I just up for a quick visit for the first time in months and made a point to stop by Poppy, because it’s so good! Couldn’t recommend more!

I am not a breakfast person but on this particular morning I was starving so I got me a Dream sandwich and their quiche with potato. Let me tell you!!! I know why they fall it a dream sandwich because now that’s all I’m gonna dream about. It’s a flaky crossiant sandwich with sausage, poached egg, some other stuff that makes it tasty. Absolutely love!! And the quiche it was pretty good as well but the crust was too dry and crumbly to my liking. Overall a good place to get you something for breakfast!

Such a cute spot. Glad we stumbled upon this place as it is a true coffee shop. They weigh they're espresso grinds before they make them. They don't over heat the milk. They provide late art. The aesthetic is very cute and on point with with the hipster coffee shop. Glad Stockton has this place instead of the basic Starbucks. They offer oat milk for those dairy free and sick of almond milk options. The Mexican mocha we spicy and a tad sweet but absolutely worth the $5.00.

I love trying new places and couldn't wait to try Poppy Coffee after driving by it a few times. They are the perfect coffee shop. One of my favorites is the breakfast bowl, it is so fresh, hearty and not microwaved! Their sandwiches are perfection, tasty and light. Baked items are made fresh! And their coffee and teas... so many styles to choose from and all of it fresh, smooth and flavorful if that's your choice. My favorite is a bowl of soul or a valley fog tea for those mornings you just need something warm and happy. If you haven't tried this place, try it. You'll love it!

Neat spot for coffee and breakfast in Stockton. Minimalist interior with friendly baristas and peaceful atmosphere. Latte was creamy. Sandwiches nice and hot. Would recommend.

Stopped in while visiting my mom. The Pacific Panini was awesome. Perfect amount of crunch and cheesey goodness. I also tried the Lavanilla Latte which was really great. I like that you can choose your milk too. I would definitely recommend this place. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Ordered the OG bagel sandwich and an iced Nutella Mocha. The sandwich was bomb, definitely would be back for that alone. The mocha wasn't my favorite, a little too milky for my personal taste (it happens a lot of places, I wonder if maybe I don't like mochas in general?), but I tried some of my sister's blended golden-something and it was really good. I would probably get that next time. The only downsides I experienced were covid related - it was busy and all the tables were in use (not sure if they pulled some out to keep capacity down, but didn't seem like it). No one wiped down tables after groups left, but I'm hoping it was just because of the rush they were in.

Glad to see Chocolate Fish beans being served here, really great choice. Espresso is always on point, drip coffee always tastes pretty good, and the lavender lemon bars are incredible! Always friendly staff as well, and the hours are super convenient. 🤘

The food and atmosphere is great. The coffee is made to a high standard, but falls short of the highest quality that you’d find in a more competitive coffee market. Where it falls short is in the sourcing and quality control for their beans, as well as expert knowledge of the baristas. For the market in Stockton, it’s very good.

Even though it wasn't on the menu I asked for a pour over coffee and the gentlemen made it for me with excitement on his face. It was a bit more than I'd like to pay for a cup of coffee but it was tasty. I also like the interior design and set up. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy your coffee.

My favorite coffee shop in Stockton. Every time I'm in Stockton I come here for coffee, latte, chai, or something to eat. My favorite right now is a tie between the golden latte and a cappuccino. They make some really good sandwiches, pastries, and more. Everything I've had here has been great and everyone who works here is always friendly and helpful.

Corner building with plenty of parking. Small amount of bakery items but has a lot of prepared to order food. Ordered Iced Mocha and it was light on the espresso taste and was overall a little milky. Very cute little spot for a local non-chain coffee spot

Employee on cash register was new. Owner/manager(she) was there. We were in town for a funeral, she was busy but still took time to offer a sentiment. Food menu looked enticing, however we were on our way. Restroom was clean. We always look for local.

After some decent searching in the Stockton area, I think we’ve finally found the best coffee shop in the area. Not only do they make the best coffee, both espresso and drip, but Poppy’s food is simply delicious. At least the breakfast, I have yet to try lunch. But the breakfast burrito and dream sandwich get 5 stars.

I love this place! They have Mexican coffee and it is normally super sweet! And this morning the girl behind the counter told me she can make it sugar free!!!!!! Taste just like the regular one - just without all the sugar!!! The chocolate scone is heavenly - lots of giant chocolate chips!!!!! My Mexican coffee and chocolate chip scone totally hit the spot this morning!!!!! Thank you Poppy Coffee!!!!! Great service with a smile and wonderful products!!!!! I will be back!!!!!
