We went there last night around 6 p.m., almost 7p.m... There weren't any customers because it was nighttime. I called and placed an order for pickup. I live literally 3 minutes away from this place. I ordered butter chicken, which was very sweet. I was thinking it'll be more curry taste. The bad thing why I had given 3 star was given the "chicken pieces" chunks, hard, not what I expected compared to other Indian cuisine. The chicken feels like it was frozen, then boiled, and added in. 2nd order was the goat curry. It was perfect spiced. However, the meat was OK, and it could have been more tender. Overall, it's ok. I like it. 3rd was I ordered 3 of their paneer paratha curd bread. Perfect size! I love this the best. Don't change the size! Tastes the best. And the rice was good. This is OK. Will probably ordering again, but more curry dishes.
Excellent food. Good spice level and tasty Lassi. We're told they just opened so the interior was quite stark and sparse. Simple decor, folding tables and chairs and paper napkins. But came for dinner and that was tops. Had and polished of Chicken 65. Wife's chicken Tikka gave me two additional lunch servings. No complaints. Will be back in Stockton and would like to go back here.
This place has amazing butter chicken, contrary to the reviews I have seen, it is really good. I understand the portion size they advise on, but mine was perfect, and the rice was cooked to perfection... I mean better than I have had at any restaurant. If you like Indian food... This place is a must "go to" restaurant. I went there last night with a friend that has never been, service was amazing and it is a very clean place, she was amazed at how yummy the food was. Hands down my favorite Indian cuisine restaurant to go to. If you go, get the butter chicken.... you wont regret the decision :)
My husband doesn’t like spicy food so I’ll go here for lunch and save my leftovers for lunch the next day. The food is delicious. The service is excellent. The last time I was here the server and I had a conversation about chai tea. He said when you come in again I’ll make you a cup of tea. It was a month later and I walked in and he said “do you want your tea?” I can’t believe he remembered me. And, by the way, the tea was so yummy.
I love this place , food was tasty and fresh and saurav is nice 👍
