Parking is a bit wild, you'll always find parking at the back of the school. Use the maps posted in different areas of the school. A good school that is to the point. Some hallways and exits lead to areas you didnt think, but everything is pretty accessible.
Today my daughter & I spoke to a few people regarding her starting on campus class. Delores in the library, Graciela in the EOPS office were super helpful. There were a few others but I didn't catch their names. I can't wait to see my daughter enjoy her college experience! Culinary here she comes!
Very nice campus, but the staff makes it a 10 out of 10. Everyone is so nice and extremely helpful, and I really appreciate that.
The summer semester is an accelerated semester which means it's short and fast paced. Depending on the classes you take will depend on how well you can learn the information being given. I think if you want to learn something really well you need more time to study and be able to ask questions and practice with the instructor. Depending on what it is learning. Some people need more help than other. My comprehension is better than it used to be so I now have an advantage I didn't have before. I like being back in college. Any class I take I learn something I didn't know before. It helps me with many things in life. I'm swimming this semester and swimming really helps my body and cardio vascular system. It also feels like a physical therapy for my body so I like to do water exercises. It's really helped a lot. I got a really reddish tint sun tan all over my face and body this summer. I don't mind it but everyone notices my skin color is different. The instructor is really helpful in explaining everything very well some people get it easily and others do not. I've learned it's all about comprehension. So long as you comprehend the information given you will be just fine.
