San Joaquin Delta College has been an important part of my professional journey. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from inspiring professors and educational counselors, especially Dr. Xiong, whose passion and dedication to helping students succeed made a meaningful impact on my educational and personal growth.
Everybody at this university has been extremely helpful that I've been going there. The students are also extremely friendly. Very up beat environment. Honestly, it seems like every time I turn around. There is always something wonderful going on. Whether it's like a little craft fair, I think it was. Workshops that you can do.
Picking up my daughter she suggested we eat there. They have a little cafe that's a part of the culinary program. The food was excellent. If you don't get there early you might not get the special of the day as they sell out fast
I always enjoy Delta. You can never feel like an outcast. It is a melting pot where most people are helpful and supportive. There are a few bad apples of course. The younger one's straight from highschool with kid mentalities. If you have disabilities there are places to aid you and lots of people willing to help. The culinary cuisine is always tempting, but unfortunately since COVID the cafeteria has been closed and it had incredible breakfast burritos and more. Now they have gas station food and the thriving Java Juice with Starbucks coffee. Classes a great, Professor's are very understanding and supportive and the clubs are incredible. Danner Hall, (The food court/rec room is awesome. Couch, chairs and a TV to hook up gaming consoles to play as well as having tournaments. They have a great Police force, excluding one who sped through a crosswalk I was about to cross. But even the groundskeepers are super nice. I easily recommend taking a class or two, or three. Lastly, as a student you have the opportunity to go once a week to the student pantry where they let you get limited food items to help during the week. Also, once a month they have a farmers market that gives out a variety of goods in the Shima 2 parking lot. Check the student pantry for more details. Delta also has 3 Theaters. And one in particular is the Alfred Muller Theater where I filmed a play for him just before he passed away. Great man. There is so much more I can say, but I recommend checking it out for yourself. All (respectful people) are welcome. In N Out is right across the street too. So... Why wait. Go get enrolled.
