Had the Saag and my friend had the maggi. The food was good, I liked the flavors in the saag and the maggi. Their robot brought it to us when it was ready, that was kinda cool. But It was a little dim in the restaurant and the tables were a little dirty around us. It was alright food and had a good vegan options but the atmosphere was a little wonky.

It is very difficult to find quality hot prepared vegetarian/vegan food in Stockton, so Shan-E is often a go-to for our whole family and a great source for groceries. We've enjoyed every dish we've tried and really appreciate that we can request vegan versions of any item. We stock our vegan/vegetarian staples from their market as often as possible as the quality, price, and selection is incomparable to regular grocery stores. The staff is always happy to see us and we love supporting locally-owned family businesses. It's SamosaTime!

Loved the dal making. The ambience of the place was great. It was clean and nice. Best part was this cute little robot which served us food. The only thing that I didn't like was the yogurt dish that we got but everything else was great.

Not bad. There are many items in the store. Prices are decent. The reason of giving 3 stars instead of 5 stars is that they dont have good customer services. They talk to you and look at you like you are not paying them money but rather getting free food from them. They seem to still in the mindset of in India instead of USA.

The owners of this company know how to run a caring and successful family business that I love to support every time I shop at their store and eat at their restaurant. I have been going here for years with my kids for their great prices, Indian food ready-to-heat-shelf-stable packets, bulk bags of beans and rice, and a great selection of spices and desserts! They also have one of the first waitress robots in our area to serve you!! This is the first place I have been to with an experience like this. The restaurant is colorfully decorated with a fountain inside too. What a beautiful experience we have every time! Thank you to these hardworking owners and their sons!! This is the best food I've ever had and owned by people who will treat you like family. I've craved their food through 2 pregnancies and have a 2 year old that absolutely loves when we eat here. I love ordering take out and bringing food home when friends and family come to eat as well! This place has very good food and very good price. It just needs more welcoming and happy service. When I walked in, nobody said anything to me until I asked. Food is amazing, was looking for more authentic Punjabi food and after a long time i could find one. Well i travel 40 miles just to pick Punjabi food from here. All other eateries around Tracy are worthless. Try out and i am sure you won't be disappointed, far better than any Punjabi food in 100 mile radius.

This place is what I call a hidden Gem" if you look for healing herbs or spices for cooking, there is a large variety. I personally like red curry for cooking and Ashwaganda and Waka Kava are medicinal herbs that I prefer for anxiety. You can find these items and more.

Do not let the humble appearance of this place fool you. I have eaten at every other Indian spot in Stockton, and this place is the best! I ordered 4 random dishes and they were all delicious! I usually never eat Indian food because my husband hates it, but when I brought some of the left overs home, he was scraping the dish trying to get every last drop of the sauce! He has been converted into someone who loves Indian cuisine thanks to this restaurant. If you feel lost and don't know what to order or how to properly eat the food, just ask them! They are so nice in there. Try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed!
