Husband and I loved this place! The food we got was delicious! The staff was so kind! Clean facilities. Glad the food didn't come out right away, showing it's made to order.
A ton of food for the money, you shouldn't leave hungry. The star was the kalua pork; moist, tender and a ton of it. You could easily turn one order of the pork into about a dozen sliders. Chicken katsu very good, crispy. BBQ chicken very flavorful. Solid potstickers. I really liked the island fire shrimp sauce, just the right amount of heat just something about the way they cook the actual shrimp, just feel like it could be done another way. The shrimp were good size and tasted fine. The rice was good, liked the macaroni salad but didn't have quite the same twang as other hawaiian macaroni salads I have had but still enjoyed it. We will definitely be coming back. Good value for the money.
Was an okay, establishment! The cuisine was up to par! Prices (my personal opinion) a bit steep, but others may disagree as the serving sizes are generous! It's a rather small diner-like atmosphere, The staff is cordial, you have to serve yourself your own drinks and ice, also when your order is ready as your dining in, they call your number and you have to leave your seat and pick up you and your families cooked orders and then serve them their trays and dishes! They had what appeared to be an old McDonald's Restaurant Trash Receptacle!
