Which do you prefer red or green chilaquiles? Good thing, Taqueria La Estrella has both. From burritos, to menudo this Mexican restaurant has it all. Known for their breakfast dishes you can pick up a tasty meal at a reasonable price. The Molcajete is a local favorite, as well as the pozole. Make sure to order a horchata, agua fresca or michelada to wash it all down.

Legit tacos al pastor. When I think of the al pastor tacos I had as a kid growing up in Guadalajara, this is definitely what I remember. Brings back good memories.. And the tripa tacos where just great too

Little gem just off Mariposa street, enjoyed a fabulous fish burrito, fresh chips, amazing aqua fresca de limon con pepino... wasn't a huge fan of the salsas, with the exception of their guac🤙🏽

The owners here have a nice place. I appreciate the covered dining area with misting machines, great customer service, quick delivery, and good 🌮 tacos. I'm assuming the other menu items are good too. I'll have to return so, I can try the other items. They even have an area to wash and sanitize your hands.

The food at La Estrella is always made to order. Hot of the grill delicious. They have a variety of green, red salsas, including pico de gallo, guacamole, lime and jalapenos. They serve chips at your table. The food is always finger licking good. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Food was good. I got a torta de pastor, delicious. My husband got the asada nachos which were also good. I do wish they had their complete menu up and available to see at the careta.

The chicken torta was delicious! One of the best ones I've had in my tour around California for the past 3 years. The Al pastor tacos are very flavorful, good ratio of meat to veggies. They do not give lemon or limes complimentary though. The horchata was okay(I wouldn't get it again though). All-in-all, this taqueria is one I would definitely visit again. Question to Taquerias La Estrella: 1. Would we be able to ask for lemons or limes with our order and not be charged? 2. Are the tortilla chips available with some menu items as a side or are they always sold separately? Thank you!

Only Taco Truck I like so far in Stockton. Good Burritos, Tacos and Quesadillas. Wish they had Hot Carrots though. Only downfall.

First time visiting this location, had gone to Manteca locations years ago. My husband heard great recommendations on radio from a local station so he wanted to try the menudo....I hesitated but wanted to give them a chance although I know radio stations get paid to advertise. The menudo was rather greasy and not enough good flavor even with the condiments. The shrimp ceviche tostadas were ok flavor but not great, although they had fresh ingredients. Asada chimichanga was good. Ordered two burritos also, one asada and the other chicken. Asada one was good but I couldn't get through half of the chicken burrito because it was too salty. The salsa they give is not spicy at all, too us anyway.

This is favorite spot for a quick meal, especially when it comes to tacos. The meat is always seasoned well, whether it be the Carne Asad or the Pollo. I am always satisfied with my visit to this place. The employees also provide excellent services.

Presentation was on point and their tortas are the best ive had in cali, to the point where im wondering if ive even had a good torta before. Admittedly i havent been to all the mexican joints around due to the disparity in taste, so my opinion might not mean much. I tend to stick to consistently good restaurants, but im so glad i decided to switch it up. La estrella is at the top of its game, if i ever want a torta while im in town i know exactly where im going. 🔥🔥🔥

Very good turned out to be my new fav place for tacos . Good food u just have to wait at least 30 min i waited 40 min my first time and got a free dessert. But unless u order over phone and pick up its like 10min. Nice for any day of the week 👍 . Grub hub service available

I like how they cook/warm the bread on their torta. Their Manteca locations were my 1st visit but this new Stockton truck location is nice for outdoor summer seating

Love the food here and like that it is so close by. Pricey if you order for delivery though and for some reason through the app if you ask for more than one sauce because you are ordering for more then one person we seem to only get one sauce every time. It's best to either dine in or pick up. Haven't experienced dine in yet but seems relaxing. It's outdoors but under shade with mist on when it's hot. They seem to get your order wrong a lot but so far they were kind about fixing my order. I would still recommend 👌
