Overview
Tepa Taqueria has been a longtime Stockton favorite. Burritos, tacos, enchiladas, and so much more can be found here. A definite must visit for Mexican food fans! This little hidden gem is tucked away in the corner of a little shopping center but it is not a secret to locals.
The line is usually long but the wait isn't. After you order your meal at the counter make your way over to their salsa bar and load up on the variety of salsas and grab some jalapeno peppers. The friendly staff will bring your food directly to your table. Make sure to get a fresh horchata for the kids and try their beef chimichanga or carnitas. This locally owned and operated spot is delicious!

This is the best taqueria in town! Flavor to the fullest and regular size tortillas for the tacos 🌮
The service was good and the atmosphere is nice. It’s definitely family friendly. I ordered the quesadilla and French fries kids meal for my child and 3 steak tacos and horchata. The food was good and reasonably priced.

I stopped in for a bowl of pizole. I asked for extra onion.I got only two tablespoons worth. I asked for oregano and they brought me a teaspoon. As for the pizole itself there was minimal pork, and hominy, as well. I actually got a bowl of juice with a little bit of hominy and pork. The flavor was actually good. I just wish there was a little more in it.
