Overview
Five decades later, the Van Ruitens farm over 800 acres of wine grapes, with only their optimum fruit destined to carry the family name. After more than fifty years, their ambition became a reality, as the Van Ruiten Family Winery was built just prior to the 2000 harvest. Two generations of the Van Ruiten family now work together to tend the vineyards and manage the winery.

Very nice winery. We came here for a wedding. Perfect spot for a small event. We got to try the the Van Ruiten Old Vine red wine. It was so good.
Lovely birthday outing with my nephew. My sister and I loved the location. Staff so friendly and knowledgeable. Chris was delightful and shared lots of knowledge with us. Audra was super helpful and friendly. Simply a delightful experience wine tasting and made more special by the delicious food from the food truck Cousins Main Lobster and the very rythmic latin inspired jazz music played. 100% will be back again!
I recently visited this past Saturday for my mother’s birthday. This was the last stop before went back home. This family owned winery had the best customer service wine was perfect . My favorite was the wine slushy perfect blend of wine and a slushy. Will be back again.
Van Ruiten rating 4.5 stars. Very nice setting and tasting area with large front patio. Visited recently with some friends who live in Lodi but had not visited this tasting room. We were all pleased with the friendly service and quality wines. Convenient location off the highway. Recommend if in Lodi.
