Overview
Five decades later, the Van Ruitens farm over 800 acres of wine grapes, with only their optimum fruit destined to carry the family name. After more than fifty years, their ambition became a reality, as the Van Ruiten Family Winery was built just prior to the 2000 harvest. Two generations of the Van Ruiten family now work together to tend the vineyards and manage the winery.

We are here on June 1, 2025 for our second visit. The band "Mystic Vinyl" is playing and rockin' out the hits! It's a friendly vibe here from everyone, including 'Pinot' the cat! The wine selection is varied with something for every palette. The 2022 Chenin Blanc hits the right notes for a hot summer day. The 2021 Old Vine Zinfandel is classic Lodi in a bottle. The 'Sideways' red is also interesting. Right on Highway 12 this is a great place and not so crowded....for now.
Their wine is everything. If you like desert wines, Acv is the Goat
Their grounds here are excellent and well maintained. Having to be built in the vineyards close is a big plus. They have a wide variety of wines which tells me they was to have something that all guest find something they would like. Cheers 🥂
This place has varietals that you cannot find at any other winery! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed and the scenery was beautiful! A place I would definitely revisit!
