First off . I love lense crafters. Even with the 1 time bad experience. But today I was very let down to find out that "lense crafters" had the edge over all other (optometry/grasses) businesses and company's due to it was the only store that had "the same day " return of your glasses. You would get your glasses the same day . I did this with them.many times over. Same for my relatives when purchasing them glasses. No other bussiness did this lense crafters was the only one period. So peoppe would travel to lense crafters locations and pay the lightly over prices for there frames and lenses BASE ON" they would get there glasses done and ready the SAME DAY. .. but lense crafters no longer offer these services .. they no longer offer same day oder ready .. you now have to wait for your glasses . Just like every other bussiness now.. i wanted to get tint glasses today and was going to buy another designer frame with tinted glasses and I was told they no longer provide dame day services only if its a same vision prescription and a clear lense.. and even then it might be longer. Since I had found this out AFTER I had my eye examination so I bought me a pair of cheap glasses with zero tint but rather clear. ... when you take the thing that gave lense crafter the edge over all other (optometry/glasses) businesses away . You realize that theres no reason to no longer pay the extra costs for the frames ans lense at lense crafters... or to go there instead of a "in-network" insurence coverage (for some). I have "VSP PLUS" vision insurance. . I for the most part had good services and experiences here most of my visits. But with this change theres no zero benefit or reason why I should ever go back to lense crafters since I now have to wait just like all other businesses for my prescription glasses.. i waited 2 weeks to set to my appointment when I could of been seen with in a few days at other companys.. today I traveled to the stockton lense crafters jsy so I can get my tinted glasses the same day (which was not the case this services is NO LONG available).... when I could of drove 10-15 mins to many other( eye/frame) businesses.... lense crafters in stockton should list that they no longer provide same day glasses with tint ... this would have saved me so many issues, time and money . this was not intended as a bad review not at all.. but thank you lense crafters from stockton for all the great many years and services you guys have provided in the past . But with the change of your same day glasses being ready policy which was the key thing that made lense crafters better then all other (eye/frame) businesses with this change it really now makes lense crafter average abd the same as all other company's.. theres no reason for me to return .. thank you again. All the best
