This museum is small but awesome! There's something to do/look at in every corner and varying levels of science exploration. Most concepts were for kids at least 5+ (my four year olds weren't into explanations at all), but the replay value is big here. The moon walk exhibit (40 lbs-200lbs weight restriction) is especially awesome! There is also an area for littles to play with big blocks, train table, a board for exploring fastenings, and big comfy chairs for adults. There are clean bathrooms, awesome staff, although the gift shop is pricey and didn't have anything specific to the museum. There is a parking structure behind the museum but we parked along the street for freebies, plenty of space on a Saturday in the little downtown area. Admission looked fair but we used Discover & Go passes from the Sacramento Public Library.
The WOW science museum is an awesome place to have a kids birthday party! I threw my 8 year old a bday party here and literally ALL of the kids had a blast! Even the adults had a good time. The staff is friendly. The museum is really cool. Its clean. And the party room is a pretty decent size..... Only thing i DIS liked- was the party packages are only 2 hours long. It sounds like 2 hours would be enough time for a party... But it really isn't. It would be a lot better if the party slots where longer. Other than that this is an awesome place to have fun and learn for any age!
My son came here on a school field trip and insisted we come here. The museum admission in my opinion is appropriate, but I bought our tickets on “Groupon” which had a family deal (2 kids and 2 adults). The museum is located in what looks like downtown Lodi and parking is in a garage right next to the museum. Museum is one story, but definitely had cool hands on exhibits. I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy this place as much my kids did. Let alone enjoy science experiments with a few requiring a bit of critical thinking. Definitely a must check out experience with it without family
A small space but the kids had fun. I'm all for teaching the kids new things and understanding how they work! Thanks for being in business! We need more places like this!
There are lots of cool, fun science activities for kids that can be enjoyed by adults too! The staff is super friendly too!
Lots of great activities for the youngest at heart upwards. Experiments, examples of science in action, crafts and learning. interactive examples and loads of fun. Definitely entertaining and a good place to spend a few hours discovering new things!
Tom is so nice! Kids had a great time! I love the toddler area in the middle so i can watch all my kids at the same time. An exercise area with pads for the kids to tumble on would be great!
